Nineteen

After having dinner, the both of them rest for an hour before Krislene decided to go the top floor for their overnight swimming at the infinity pool. She choose to go late at night so there won't be a lot of people on the pool.

And after she's settled, Krislene went out of the bathroom and immediately, she met Dylan's gaze. She walked towards him with a smile on her face before she spoke, "Let's go?"

Dylan stared at her for quite some time then sighed. He nodded at her then stood up from the couch. Honestly, Dylan is feeling uneasy right now. It's because of what they've talked about earlier. Dylan knew that once again, he caused pain to the woman he likes. Nagpapakatotoo lang naman kasi sya. Ayaw nya rin madaliin. But he knew to himself that he wanted to be with Krislene, gusto nya ito eh. To the point na nagseselos sya sa ibang lalaki. Even Krislene's cousins and childhood friend. Whenever he thought of that, gusto nyang magpaka-possessive dito. So what does it really mean? For now, he's still unsure. But one thing is for sure, gusto nyang sa kanya lang si Krislene.

"—Dylan?"

Napakurap-kurap si Dylan nang marinig nya ang boses ni Krislene. "H-Ha?"

Krislene pouted, "You're spacing out."

Just like this, whenever Krislene is pouting, he always have the urge to kiss her senseless. "S-Sorry, what is it again?"

"I said where's my strawberry chocolate?"

Agad naman tumalima si Dylan at kinuha ang isang box ng strawberry chocolate sa bulsa ng cargo shorts nya. "Here."

Grinning, Krislene got it from his hand before giving him a long peck of kiss that suprises him. "Losen up and don't space out Dylan."

"I-I just thought..."

"Nothing changes Dylan okay? So don't worry." Sabi ni Krislene sabay hila dito papalabas sa hotel room.

Dylan is actually surprised to see Krislene like this. Like, hindi nya ito nasaktan kung umasta ito. On the other hand, Krislene actually understands. That's why she didn't sulk and decided to just be herself. Still the confident, outgoing and straightforward woman. She's brave enough to face that kind of pain. Dahil ang isa sa motto nya, never run away from those hurtful things. Instead, face it. But if you can't, then go and run away but get back as soon as you're healed and face the reality once again.

So here she is, not running away. Instead, she's confident that sooner or later, Dylan will also fall inlove with her. So just be confident.

As soon as they arrived at the top floor, Krislene was surprised to see no one, not even a single person, on the top floor infinity pool. It's just the two of them.

"Are we... still allowed in here?" Krislene curiously asked as Dylan guided her towards the outdoor chaise lounge.

"Yep!"

"But why is it there's no one in here aside from us?" Krislene asked as soon as she sat on one of the chair lounges.

"I asked them earlier to close the infinity pool since it'll be exclusive for my Queen."

At doon napatanga si Krislene sa sagot ni Dylan. Really? Just like that? Pumayag ang management na i-exclusive ang infinity pool just for the two of them?

"Are you... some kind of a Boss in here?"

Dylan smiled mischievously at Krislene making her eyes grew wide. That's when realization hits her. From the food that she likes that Dylan cooked, up to this exclusive infinity pool just for them. "Y-You own this?"

"Kinda."

"Dylan!"

Dylan can't help but to laugh. "What is it Lene?"
