Special Chapter 5 - Promise

Early morning, Dylan and Krislene are still lying on the bed while cuddling with each other. It's weekend. And weekend means their two-day break from the corporate world. As we all know, Dylan is the CEO of Kingsley Global while Krislene, she's the Sexytary— I mean Secretary of the CEO. And they both give their best to make Kingsley Global stand high and mighty.

But of course, their time with their family won't ever be compromised. Even though they're busy with work, they always make sure to give time and attention to their families which also includes their friends, but most especially, their children.

Though this weekend is little different because the two kids aren't around since yesterday night. They're currently staying with their Abuelo and Abuela, together with Vincent and Vreen, Kristene and Vincien's kids.

That's the reason why the two are still lying in their bed and still cuddling with each other.

Krislene, who's head is resting on Dylan's arms, called his attention, "Mahal ko?"

And Dylan, who's gently caressing Krislene's small baby bump, answered, "Yep Mahal ko?"

With a sweet smile on her face, Krislene spoke, "Let's have a date today? I mean, this is the only free time we have since the kids are with Mom and Dad til tomorrow. And I kinda miss having a date with my husband."

Dylan instantly smiled because honestly, he also missed going out on a date with his beloved wife. When was the last time they had a date? It's already been a few months since they had a romantic date, just like before when they're still a couple, or boyfriend and girlfriend relationship. He wanted to but he's a bit hesitant because he's worried of his Queen. She's three and a half-month pregnant already.

"Will you be okay though? Don't get me wrong my wife, but I'm worried because you're pregnant. Baka mahirapan ka sa paglalakad."

Krislene chuckled. "Of course I'll be okay. Besides, walking is also a form of exercise that I badly need— well, except for love-making of course."

And because his wife is being naughty yet adorable, he dropped soft kisses on her lips. "Alright my Queen. We'll have a date today. So where do you want to go?" Dylan asked though he already knew where Krislene wanted to go.

Seaside.

"Seaside."

I was right all along. Because that place is really memorable to the both of them. It's where they had their first ever date. That's where Dylan started feeling something towards Krislene. And that feeling turned into being inlove. And now look at them, happily married.

"Then it is settled, we'll go to the Seaside, my Thalassophile Queen."

While on their way going to the Seaside, Dylan is asking his wife what does she want to do first before going to the seaside because it's best to go there during sunset.

Krislene on the other hand already has something on her mind on what she wanted to do first upon arrival at the mall.

"I want to buy some baby stuffs." Krislene said while carressing her tummy.

"Sure my Queen. But what are we going to do with King and Queen's baby stuffs?"

"Of course, we'll keep it as a remembrance. But you know, I want our kids to have their own stuffs. And that includes our third Princess."

Yep! You've read it right. Krislene is carrying their third child and it's a girl. Nagdilang-anghel talaga ang anak nilang si King Azure.

Then Krislene continued, "I mean, as they grow up, they will surely have their own identities. Same as while they're still young, I want them to have their own possessions too. Because that's how Ate K and I does since we're still kids. We don't really share ever since. Hindi naman kami madamot sa isa't-isa, but what's mine is mine alone, same with Ate."
