Special Chapter 6 - Duchess Leneraye Kai

Duchess Leneraye Kai Adriano-Kingsley POV

Yep! Duchess Leneraye Kai Adriano-Kingsley is my name and I'm not just proud but so much inlove with it.

Though there was once in my life that I find it hard writing my long name, that I opt to make it short with Duchess L.K. Kingsley. But as time passes by, I learned to love my name wholeheartedly knowing that it means a lot to my parents. And we all know why.

My siblings are called King and Queen. Sounds royalties right? So my first name is next to them, that's why I'm called Duchess. And I also found out that it was Kuya Azure who wanted me to be named Duchess. Such a sweet Brother, indeed.

As for Leneraye. That's how my Dad calls Mom, Lene Raye. And since I'm hundred and one percent carbon copy of my Mom, my Dad calls me Leneraye. As to why? Let's found out on the sneak peak of my story.

I somehow have blue eyes too just like my siblings. But there's something unique about my eyes. I have central heterochromia which means the inner ring has different color than the outer area of the iris.

The inner ring of my eyes are brown while the outer ring are blue. Very unique and rare, right?

And now, let's go to my name Kai.

Kai. Well it means sea in Hawaiian dialect and we all know how much my Mom loves the ocean. My Dad calls her a Thalassophile Queen. Most of all, my Mom Krislene loves her very own ocean, which is my Dad, Dylan—who's name means ocean too.

With that, I'm proud to be called Duchess Leneraye Kai—

"Duchess."

Kai was so immersed in writing her draft in her free-writing essay when her Mom called her attention. Then she saw her Mother carrying a captivating smile that can captivate their whole family.

"Yes my beautiful Mom?"

Her Mother chuckled, "Sweet-talker. Come on, dinner is ready."

And from being a 19 year-old teenager to being a 5-year old kid real quick, she stood up and grinned happily at her Mother. "Food Mom! Let's eat."

During dinner, the five of them are happily eating together when she remembered that she needs to ask her Father's help with regards to her academics.

"Dad?"

"Yes Leneraye anak?"

She smiled when she heard how her Dad calls her name sweetly.

"Can I ask for your help? Uhm... With regards to academics."

Her Dad looked at her apologetically. "Oh. I'm sorry anak. I need to accompany your Sister tonight. Say, how about tomorrow?"

"Dad, it's okay. Help our Duchess first. I can go there alone tonight." Her Sister Queen said with a smile on her face.

"No Queen." It was their Mother who spoke. "Let your Dad accompany you since your Brother will be busy."

Her Brother King looked at her apologetically and he mouthed, 'I'm sorry Duchess.'

She chuckled and mouthed back at her Brother, 'It's okay.' Then she smiled at her Father, "No worries Dad. Tomorrow nalang po."

"Alright Leneraye. Tomorrow."

Well, there's still tomorrow. Maybe her Dad could spend time helping her tomorrow. But that's what she thought because the next day, when she asked her Dad about helping her again with academics, he's still busy because he needs to help her Sister with her upcoming feasibility test.
