Sixteen

Silence fell between them after their confessions to each other. Not the awkward kind of silence but more like, their mind and especially their hearts are agreeing to what they feel right at that very moment.

Hanggang sa makapag-check in sila sa Hotel, masyado silang tahimik. Looks like, nagpapakiramdaman sila ng isa't-isa.

At heto si Krislene ngayon, nakaupo habang nakatanaw sa karagatan sa bintana ng kwarto nya. They don't share the same room. She's alone right now while looking at the vast ocean but her mind is occupied by that person who owns a pair of blue eyes, her own ocean, and it was none other than Dylan.

Honestly, she wanted to talk to him. Pero kasi, baka inaantok din ito o baka natutulog na ito since pareho silang kulang sa tulog. So she'll just give him some time for now. Susulitin nya muna ang view nya ngayon dahil sisiguruhin nyang mamaya, si Dylan ang matititigan nya ng ganito.

On the other hand, Dylan is actually still wide awake. Oo, nakakaramdam sya ng antok, pero hindi naman sya makatulog. His mind is filled with the woman who always captivates his whole being. Kanina nga lang na natutulog ito, sa totoo lang, ang tagal nya itong pinagmasdan. It may seem rude to stare at people sleeping but he can't help it. His eyes are glued to the woman he likes.

Inaamin naman na nya. Gusto nya si Krislene. Hindi na nya iyon mapipigilan pa. Since somehow, Vincien helped him to wake up to face the reality and make up his mind.

That's the reason why he can't keep off his eyes from her. But the truth is, his eyes always avert to Krislene's lips and he badly wanted to press his lips against her lips. But it'll be really rude of him to do it without her consent. So to reign himself, he got out of the car and walked towards the seashore to calm himself. And luckily, it worked. Dahil kung nagtagal pa sya sa loob ng sasakyan habang tinititigan si Krislene, sigurado syang hindi nya mapipigilang halikan ang labi nito.

And now he's thinking, gising pa kaya ito? He really wanted to see her in an instant dahil kung hindi, ikakabaliw nya na ito.

With that thought, he reached for his phone and looked for Krislene's name on his contacts.

Lene 👑

Napangiti si Dylan nang makita nya ang pangalan nito sa contacts nya. Honestly, at first, it was just plain 'Lene'. But then he added the crown next to her name since he always treat her as a Queen. And even though he memorized her number, he still saved it on his phone.

And without further ado, he composed a message to Krislene.

To: Lene 👑

'Lene, are you still awake?'

Sent!

Few seconds later, yep, just seconds, Krislene replied, but in her messenger account.

Kraye: I'm wide awake Dylan.

Dylan: What are you doing?

Kraye: Just looking at my favorite view right now.
Kraye: You? I actually thought you're sleeping.

Dylan: Nope. I'm wide awake too.
Dylan: ☹️

Kraye: 🧐
Kraye: Are you sulking?

Dylan can't help but to laugh because of what Krislene said.

Dylan: I am.
Dylan: I brought you here so we could enjoy together but you're not inviting me. You're just doing it alone.
Dylan: 😢

Kraye: 😟
Kraye: I'm sorry.
Kraye: Don't cry big boy.
Kraye: I just thought you're sleeping but honestly, I wanted to be with you right now.
Kraye: So come over and let's have a bonding together.
