Days passed, Dylan is getting busier with a lot of things. Being the heir of Kingsley means a lot of work and responsibility. Also, as the co-owner of Le Mortejo, he also needs to look out for it from time to time. Another thing, Dylan is with Krislene's Sister, Kristene, most of the time. They're best friends. And knowing Krislene? She understands it.

But there's some changes also with Dylan these past few days. Though he always find time for Krislene, most of the time, whenever he's with Kristene, he's not able to send a message to Krislene within the day. His phone is really acting up. Kulang nalang, ipukpok nya ito para gumana muli. Hindi pa kasi sya nakakabili dahil masyado syang busy. Makakapag-message lang sya, kapag dala nya ang laptop nya.

And Dylan knows he's already lacking. Nagsabay-sabay kasi. From work in his own company and Le Mortejo, to his best friend, alam nyang nagkukulang sya sa nobya. But Krislene will always be Krislene. She's the most understanding woman he ever met.

And since it's weekend, he promised he'll make it up to her so he's currently on his way to Krislene's house. And like the usual, his phone is acting up. Hindi kasi ito nagbubukas kaya't nakailang pukpok sya nito sa kanyang palad.

And voila, it opened even though it's lagging. Talagang kailangan nyang bumili ngayon. Magpapasama nalang sya sa mall kay Krislene.

He was about to call Krislene when he received a text message from his best friend, Kristene.

From: Rae

'Dylan, can you accompany me today? I'll visit Kriscien since three days from now, I'll be going to Newark. Please please please? Wala kasing gusto sumama sa akin. 🥺 Busy si Maru at Kuya Owen. Even my Sis and Vaughn.'

When the car stopped at the intersection, he can't help but to blow a loud breath. Hindi naman nya mahindian si Kristene dahil sa pakiusap nito. But how about Krislene? Nakapangako sya dito.

While waiting for the traffic light to turn green, he immediately called Krislene and just a few rings and she answered.

"Yep?"

"Lene?"

"Oh Dylan!" Then Krislene chuckled. "Himala, nagamit mo ang phone mo."

"Well, nakailang pukpok ako ulit para lang magbukas." Sabi nya dito at napatawa muli si Krislene.

"Bili tayo ng phone mo ngayon, what do you think? Tutal doon naman tayo sa bahay mo tutuloy. Let's buy first a new phone. Maaga pa naman."

Hindi sya kaagad nakasagot dahil iyon naman talaga ang plano nya. But how would he explain it to Krislene that her Sister is asking him to accompany her today? Ang pinaka-ayaw nya sa lahat ay mabaliwala ang pangakong binitawan nya. But these past few weeks, he can't fulfil it and he's fully aware that he's already lacking.

"Let me guess." Biglang sabi ni Krislene na nakapagpabalik sa ulirat nya. "Nagpapasama si Ate K 'no?"

"H-How did you—"

"Nagpapasama sya sa akin. But I declined. Since we have plans for today. But it's okay kung sasamahan mo si Ate. I understand."

Honestly, upon hearing those words from Krislene, sya na mismo ang nasasaktan para dito. She always understands but he knew well that there's a limit to everything.

"Lene..."

"Sige na Dylan, samahan mo na si Ate K. We can always reschedule. Don't worry."

He took a deep breath before he spoke once again, "Okay. But I promise I'll make it up to you my Queen. Next time, I'll prioritize you before anything else."
