Special Chapter 4 - Family (pt. 2)

As soon as their friends arrived, the house of Kingsley becomes a riot, indeed. Noong hindi pa dumadating ang mga ito, tahimik ang buong bahay maski ang kapaligiran pero ngayong dumating na ang lahat kasama ang kanya-kanyang pamilya ng mga ito, ang tahimik na kapaligiran ay biglang sumobrang ingay.

Some of the kids are running around the house while some are outside playing with King and Queen. The girls are busy chatting with each other like they haven't seen each other for a long time. While the guys? Well, they're somehow loud while conversing with each other because they're currently deciding on what food to cook for dinner. Nang dumating kasi sila, bumili nalang sila ng take-out food dahil napagdesisyunan nilang sa hapon nalang magluto para sa kakainin nilang lahat para sa dinner.

It took the guys almost an hour discussing on what to cook and when they finally made up their mind, half of the boys went to the Supermarket to buy the ingredients they'll be needing while some of them took time to look for their children who's busy playing near the seashore.

And Dylan is included with them.

"Looks like King and Queen are so used to play outside. Silang dalawa ang leader nitong iba eh."

Napatawa naman si Dylan dahil sa sinabi ng kapatid. "They can freely go anywhere they want. Isa lang naman ang bilin namin ni Krislene. Huwag silang lalayo masyado. Though this place is hundred percent safe, ayokong lumayo sila dito. But knowing those two, baka nga kung saan-saang lugar na nakakarating ang mga iyon."

"Dinala daw ni King at Queen sila Vincent at Vreen sa may tree-house kanina." Sabi naman ni Vincien sa kanya.

Dylan sighed, "That's a bit far from here."

"Let them do what they want." It was Marco who spoke. "This place is the safest place in Pagudpud."

"Yes." Vaughn agreed. "Idagdag pang safety freak kayo ni Vincien."

Dylan agreed on his mind. This place is his private property and no one can enter unless they will pass the security system that Vincien provided for his place. So technically, this place is just exclusive for his family and extended family which includes their friends.

"What's taking them so long? Malapit lang naman ang Supermarket dito sa bahay."

"Bud, those who went to the Supermarket are all gago's. What would you expect?" Vaughn said and everyone agreed while shooking their heads.

"Insan, um-agree ka naman." Sabi ni Vaughn kay Caleb na kanina pa tahimik sa tabi ni Vaughn.

"Uma-agree ako insan. Pero deep inside lang. Mahirap na, baka marinig ako ni Tiffany. Alam mo naman kung gaano ka-loyal kay Alexander 'yon." Sabi nito na ikinatawa ng lahat.

"Anyway Bud." Pagkuha ni Dylan sa atensyon ni Caleb. "You haven't decided yet?"

Caleb smiled, "I'm already decided."

"And that is?"

"I want to be always near her. Lalo pa ngayon at kailangan nya ng lakas."

Vaughn tapped Caleb's shoulder, "We're all here also for her. But if that's your decision, we'll respect it."

"But don't give up on what your heart wants." It was Denver who spoke. "I understand what you meant by you wanted to always be near her. Sino bang may ayaw diba? We always want to be near our loved ones. But let's not forget our dreams in life that we want to achieve. Kumbaga, balansehin lang natin ang oras, panahon at sitwasyon. We shouldn't focus on our dreams alone. Dadating din naman tayo sa retirement stage then we could spend eternity with our loved ones. Anyway, ang gulo ko. But do you get what I'm saying?"
