Rinig ni Dylan ang boses ng babaeng nakasama nya kahapon sa may tabing-dagat pati na rin ang boses ng kanyang Tía Selene. Mukhang nasa labas lang ang mga ito ng kanyang kwarto.
"Her name is Kristene." He mumbled to himself. Iyon kasi ang pagkakarinig nya base sa pagtawag ni Tía Selene.
"Okay go ahead and try Princess!" He heard Tía Selene said then moments later, he heard a faint knock on her door.
Slowly, he walked towards the door of his room and slightly opened it. And there, he saw the girl smiling happily at him.
Such a captivating smile.
"Yep?"
"Hey! Can we eat lunch together?" Sabi nito kaagad sa kanya. "Please, please?" Dagdag pa nito na ikinatawa nya. She looks so cute while saying 'please, please.'
And could he resist this girl who owns a captivating smile?
He can't, just now.
"Okay."
The girl grinned happily at him. "Yay! Let's go!" And his breathing literally hitched when the girl held his arm and dragged him downstairs.
And just as expected, everyone was really surprised to see him downstairs. Kahit naman sya eh. Hindi nya inakalang mapapapayag sya ng babaeng ito.
"It's a surprise to see you out of your room King." Hindi makapaniwalang sambit ng kanyang ina.
"Ang anak nyo lang pala ang makakapilit sa anak namin." Sabi naman kanyang ama kaya't napakamot sya sa ulo.
Then the girl turned to him, still having this captivating smile. "King!"
"Y-Yeah?"
"Kain na tayo gutom na ako eh!" She excitedly said and he can't help but to laugh at her being adorable.
"Okay, okay."
At hinila nanaman sya nito papuntang hapagkainan at ganoon nalang ang pagkatulala nya sa mga pagkain na nakahain sa mesa. Sobrang dami. But what caught his attention most is the famous Filipino dish. Dinuguan. And honestly, it's his all-time favorite. And there's a lot more!
"Alright sit down you two." Sabi ng kanyang ina kaya't agad syang tumalima at imbis na maupo kaagad, inalalayan nya ang babae na makasampa at makaupo ng maayos sa upuan.
"Thank you!" The girl uttered in glee while smiling.
He smiled back and was about to sit in front of the girl when she spoke, "Dito ka sa tabi ko please?"
And again, he just can't say no to her and he doesn't even know why.
"Okay." He said as he sat beside her.
