Special Chapter 4 - Family (pt. 1)

"Lene what do you want to eat for dinner?" Dylan asked while walking towards his Queen who's currently sitting on the couch while facing the vast ocean.

"Hmm... let me think first Dylan ko." Sagot nito sa kanya pero hindi nito inaalis ang tingin sa malawak na karagatan habang kumakain ng paborito nitong comfort food, or rather sweets. Ano pa nga ba? Walang iba kundi ang Meiji Apollo Strawberry Chocolate.

Napangiti nalang sya dahil kahit na ilang taon na rin silang kasal, hindi pa rin nagbabago ang kanyang asawa. They've been married for almost how many years and he's way beyond happy seeing his wife unchanging. Malambing pa rin ito sa kanya at sweet. Maalaga at higit sa lahat, sobrang mapagmahal.

And Dylan can't help but to fall inlove with his wife over and over again.

"How about your favorites? Dinuguan? Chicken Cordon Bleu? Salted-egg chicken wings?"

Saglit na nag-isip si Krislene bago ito umiling sa kanya. "I don't like those food for now Mahal ko."

Dylan sit beside her and gently pulled her closer towards him and Krislene settled her back on Dylan's body. "That's new. Pagkakaalam ko walang inaayawan ang asawa ko basta pagkain."

Krislene chuckled, "I'm actually craving for something right now."

"Tell me what is it so I could cook for you."

Krislene looked at him, grinning happily. "I want Pizza and Carbonara."

Napatitig si Dylan sa asawa habang naka-awang ang labi. That's the least he expect from his wife. Hindi naman mahilig ang asawa nya sa pizza at carbonara. In short, she's not into pizza and pasta.

Napatawa si Krislene kapagkuwan bago ito magsalita. "Dylan ko, you looked suprised!"

"Because I am! I mean, hindi ka mahilig doon."

"Hindi nga but it doesn't mean I'm not eating those kind of foods. Basta iyon ang gusto ko kainin."

Sa bagay. Tama naman ang sinabi ni Krislene. Hindi man sya mahilig doon but it doesn't mean that she doesn't eat those kind of foods. Wala nga palang inaayawan ang kanyang asawa pagdating sa pagkain.

"Okay then, I'll cook—"

"Nope! Ayokong mapagod ang asawa ko. Let's just order online and have it delivered here okay?"

And in an instant, Dylan felt his heart pounding inside of his chest. This is Krislene's effect on him ever since. Ramdam na ramdam nya ang buong-buo na pagmamahal nito sa kanya.

"Alright then I'll order pizza and carbonara for my wife. Anything else you like?"

"Mojos and fried chicken my King!"

And moments later, their son's soothing and calm voice echoed on the room.

"You calling me Mommy?"

And in an instant, Krislene smiled happily towards their son. "Come here my King!"

Then King run towards them in glee and sat on the other side of Krislene. Napatawa nalang si Dylan dahil agad na sinapo ni Krislene ang mukha ng kanilang anak habang pinagkatitigan ito.

"Ah! My ocean!" Krislene uttered while looking straight on their son's eyes.

Yep! They have the same color of eyes which is Krislene's all time favorite, Blue.

King chuckled. "Mommy, you still want to look in my eyes? Hindi pa po ba enough and eyes ni Daddy? We have the same color!"

"I know but I can't help myself from looking at your eyes too."
