Sixty-four

A lot of things happened in just a matter of weeks. Her Sister Kristene and Vincien are finally reconciled. Kitang-kita na rin nya ang pagbabalik ng dati nyang kapatid na masiyahin, sweet at mapang-asar. But most of all, her Sister is naughty as ever. Kung akala nyo na sya lang ang mahilig mang-seduce kay Dylan, hindi papatalo ang kapatid nyang si Kristene kay Vincien.

And now, Vincien is on the move. Biruin mo nga naman at sa Hong Kong pa ito nag-propose where bittersweet memories happened to her Sister and Vincien. And as for them, of course, hindi nila mapapalampas ito. Dahil lahat sila na magkakaibigan at pati na rin ang mga magulang nila, ito ang pinaka-aabangan sa ilang taon na lumipas. In short, team Kriscien ang lahat.

Lalo naman sya. Ito ang pinakahihintay nya. Finally, her Sister will settle down with Vincien, the love of her Sister's life. Nasaksihan nya halos lahat ng pinagdaanan ng kanyang kapatid. And she knows that her Sister deserved to be happy, finally!

Ito ang ipinangako nya sa sarili nya. Once her Sister got married, that's the only time that she will also settle down with the man she loves, and it's none other than Dylan Kingsley.

Speaking of Dylan Kingsley, napangiti nalang sya nang yakapin sya nito ng mahigpit mula sa likuran habang nasa Sky Terrace 428 sila matapos ang wedding proposal ni Vincien sa kanyang kapatid. Dylan's warmth gives her an overwhelming feeling right at that very moment.

"My Queen, are you feeling cold?"

"Kanina. Pero niyakap mo na ako eh. Kaya hindi na."

At mas lalo pang humigpit ang yakap ni Dylan sa kanya habang pinagmamasdan nila ang 360 degree panoramic view ng Hong Kong. Sayang at gabi na. Hindi nya tuloy makita ang paborito nyang dagat.

"I'm sorry about earlier." Dylan said as he rested his chin on her shoulder.

"Sorry for?"

"I called your Sister Babe once again. I mean, nakasanayan ko na kasi. But I promise, walang romantic feeling na involve doon Mahal ko."

Krislene chuckled. "Silly! Ilang beses ko bang uulit-ulitin sayo na okay nga lang? Remember, we don't give a damn about endearments. Sapat na sa akin na tawagin mo ako sa pangalan ko, or even your Queen. As for Mahal ko, well, totoo naman kasi diba? We love each other."

"I'm really damn lucky to have you in my life." Dylan said as he kissed her temple and cheek. "You're very selfless and a very understanding woman. Kaya inlove na inlove ako sayo eh."

"That's what matters most to me my King." She said as she intertwined their hands. "We both love each other. Walang makakahadlang doon."

Then someone approached the both of them and cleared his throat. "Princess?"

And when they turned to him, she smiled upon seeing Vaughn who's having unshed tears in his eyes. Looks like her Sister already talked to him like what they both planned earlier. "Yes Kuya Vaughn?"

"Can I disturb the both of you for a moment?"

"Sure!" Then she wiped away the tears from Vaughn's eyes that suprises him. "Our Big Brother is crying. Looks like Ate K already talked to you hmm?"

Bumakas ang gulat sa mukha ni Vaughn dahil sa sinabi nya. "Y-You knew?"

"Of course Kuya Vaughn! I knew everything. We actually planned earlier to talk to you." Then she clucked her tongue. "Ang bagal mo rin kasi eh. Naghihintay lang sila Dad and Mom sayo na magsabi ka sa kanila. And in all honesty, gusto nila na tawagin mo rin silang Mom and Dad. Doon palang masaya na sila eh."

Her Brother just gaped at her looking so surprised so she gave a loving smile at him, "You've been there for us for almost a decade. Tingin mo ba pinsan lang ang turing namin sayo ni Ate K? Nope! You're our Big Brother already. And you're a son to our parents. And we've seen how you work hard not just for us but for the company itself. It's standing high and mighty because of you. So it's always intended for you."
