Just like the usual day, Krislene walks by the seashore while watching the majestic sunset. Never in her life did she missed watching it, not even once, when she choose to settle in Cebu one and a half year ago. It's her daily routine or rather a daily part of her life.
She's happy with her new life but at the end of the day, there's always something that's missing for the past two and a half years. And it goes on every single day.

Napatigil sya sa paglalakad habang pinagmamasdan nya ang unti-unting paglubog ng araw. But before it could fully set down, Dylan's smile flashes on her mind and she can't help but to smile because of that thought. Then her gaze settled on her hand. They use to hold-hands while watching the sunset before. But during those two and a half years, she's alone.
Her hands felt empty.
She, herself, always feels the emptiness on the inside.
With that, she averted her gaze towards Dylan's hotel from not so far where she is. She'd been here for the past one and a half year but never in her life did she encountered him. Yung tipong hindi pinipilit na magkrus ang landas nila.
Because she believes that if they're destined to see each other, then it will happen even how long will it takes. But it never did. Kaya nga kahit na may nararamdaman pa rin sya para dito, tanggap na nyang hindi sila ang nakatadhana. Masakit man, pero iyon ang realidad.
She shooked her head and lightly slapped her cheeks. "You can do it Krislene! Ikaw pa ba? Makaka-move on ka rin!"
With that, she continued walking by the seashore when her eyes caught something that is scribbled on the sand. And while walking towards it, her eyes grew wide upon clearly seeing what was it.
Two heart-shaped with K and R written on it.
It was King's trademark! Her Childhood Sweetheart!
Krislene immediately roamed her eyes around but she can't see anyone from where she is. Napaupo nalang sya at napasapo ng mga kamay sa mukha dahil sa mga luhang kumawala sa kanyang mata.
It goes on like this for a long time. Masama ang loob nya dahil hanggang ganito lang sila pinagtatagpo ni King. Pero kahit kailan hindi man lang sila magkita kahit isang beses.
"You're so near yet so far away." She uttered while crying her heart out.
Yes. This is the first time, after a long time, that she cried again. Nagkapatong-patong na lahat ng nararamdaman nyang sakit, panghihinayang at pangungulila.
