Mina's Point of View

"Uhm?"

I can't believe my eyes. Chaeyoung what the hell did you do?

"Who are you?" The little kid crossed her arms. She looks like Chaeyoung. Is she her kid? She has a kid?!

"I'm Mina Sharon Myoui, how about you?" I raised my brow and she did the same. Oh, dear.

"I'm Charlios Tylia."

"Charlios?" I repeated and she just scoffed, feeling offended.

"Yes, I don't see why you need to repeat it when I already made myself clear." She retorted rudely.

My forehead creased, this girl, seriously. I just woke up and she's the person I saw first thing in the morning and I am unsure where Chaeyoung is, "Where's Chaeyoung?"

"Daddy's outside talking to granny and great granny." The little girl crossed her arms.

While I on the other hand, freaking choked on my own saliva, "D-daddy?!"

The girl smirked, "Yup. I am Charlios Son, Chaeyoung Son's only daughter."

"Wait who's your f-"

"Daddy Chaeyoung." she sternly said. Uhm.

"Sorry what?"

"I'm a product of the future. Have you ever heard of virgin births?" I shook my head, "I'm the very first successful baby with no birth defects. Daddy's genetic material alone and sadly.. you're my mother."

Yo, what? "M-Mother? How am I your mom?"

She looked at me with a meh face. "You're daddy's girlfriend and she asked me to be nice."

"So this is you.. being nice?" She just stared at me blankly. I massaged my nose bridge, really confused of what's happening right now. Am I hallucinating? Is this a dream? But I continued to stare at her.

"Stop staring... mom" Charlios spoke with a hint of.. disgust. I scoffed.

Both of us turned our heads when suddenly the door of my room opened. "Mina, gising ka na pala."

I glared at her and turned my head to Charlios and she winced. "You had a kid?"

"Ah, ano ang habang storya." She asked Charlios to go over her and the kid smiled and went to her lap. "This is Charlios.. my daughter.." She caressed the kid's head. "Do you know Dylon Fuentes? She's a famous doctor which studies the stem cell process, it is where two females could have a child with their very own dnas but ituturn lang yung skin cell ng isang partner para maging sperm cell through the stem cell process.. while the virgin birth is a pregnancy with no sperm.." I am very confused but I let her continue, I looked at Charlios and she just raised her brow on me so I stick out my tongue that made Chaeyoung laugh, "You know Mina.. si Lola she's.. she's sick. And naaalala ko nun na she once asked me to have a kid but you know nakafocus ako sa pagaaral at.. hindi ako interesado sa lalaki." I nodded. "Charlios here is already three years old... it wasn't me who carried her though but she's mine, and uhh.. Dra. Fuentes scouted me since she's also from RU.."

"Tita Dylon actually sponsored daddy's scholarship." Charlios said, I bet she got impatient that's why Chaeyoung laughed.

"Sila lola and tita.. alam na ba nila?" Tumango si Chaeyoung. "Anong sakit ni.. lola?"

"Pleural effusion." Chaeyoung look down, she's sad. I held her arm and she smiled at me, "Pero she's undergoing thorocentesis for years at nakikita mo naman na she's still looking good." I nodded.

"But.. bakit ngayon mo lang siya pinakita?" I asked Chaeyoung and she just kissed Charlios' head.

"This lil bundle of joy is busy being a prodigy, she came from Japan." Charlios giggled. "And I can't risk anyone knowing about her being that one successful baby for a virgin birth."

"I see," I smiled. "She told me I am her mom but this baby is rude to her mommy ha." I teased Charlios who just made face., "Come here." I pulled her towards me and hugged her. No wonder she's talking like an adult despite being a baby. Chaeyoung explained lots of things pa and now it's all clear.

It's surprising na nagkaron kami ng baby bigla.. I remembered my own baby..I looked at Charlios. She really looks like Chaeyoung! I kissed her cheeks and I laughed because she whined but still let me.. I tried my best not to tear up.. I'm more than happy to have a new little angel. "Mommy don't cry." Charlios wiped my tears so I thanked her.. Chaeyoung pulled us for a hug and I can't be thankful enough for this feeling.

"Mina by the way.." Napatingin ako kay Chaeyoung while playing with our baby.. I hummed and she just hugged me from the back.. "It's about your dad."

Napalingon ako sakanya. "What about him?" I asked.

"He got arrested.." she slowly said, "Along with Kris."

My heart fell, napatingin ako sakanya, I am really confused. There are so many things happening on this day. "Why?"

"Yung papa ko.. it turns out.. na may kompanya kami." My eyes widened. "Yung inaasikaso pala niyang business niya.. yung kumpanya namin.. buong buhay ko pala.. tinutulungan talaga kami ni papa.. and alam nila mama yon.. tinago lang nila sakin dahil gusto nila akong mamuhay ng simple.. ayaw akong iexpose sa business world pero.. ngayon I got exposed, Mina."

"Why?"

"Your father created an article about me.. na hindi daw niya ako gusto para sayo.. here look." pinakita niya sakin yung phone niya at may article nga from our corporation. "Nakita ni papa at sobra siyang nagalit.. kasi your father belittled me.. then si papa.. he created an article himself... revealing the whole world that Charlie Tyler Son, one of the richest tycoons' daughter's identity."

Again.. My eyes widened. "How come this all happened in one day? And While I was asleep?" I looked at her with furrowed brows. "But how did dad got arrested by that?"

Chaeyoung gulped.. "I'm sorry Mina, sa sobrang galit ni papa, he.. he used his power just to put them in jail... because I also.. mentioned what happened to you and his heart broke.. hindi mo deserve 'yon. He took the liberty to do the things that is needed.. bilang bawi na rin daw sa sama ng loob ko sakanya.." She cupped my face. "Mina you're part of the family now.. in this family, no one would ever dare to hurt you again.. Not that I am alive. Not that I am here by your side.. Mina.. I love you."

With that, I cried.

Lahat ng sakit ibubuhos ko na.. Finally.. the heavy feeling na lagi kong nararamdaman.. unti unti ng nawala.. even if it hurts to know that my dad will be in jail but still.. still I'm free.. free from the uncomfortable feeling.. also with the news that Kris is with him.. I feel safe now.. I'm finally safe now... I saw Charlios crying, maybe because I was crying my eyes out.. Oh dear this little angel, I hugged her.. While Chaeyoung just hugged us both while cooing Charlios not to cry rin.

I stared at Chaeyoung.. Hindi niya alam kung gaano ako ka-thankful sakanya.. She doesn't know how much I love her as well. I never imagined myself being this happy.. I thought I'll be always alone.. a toy.. a trash.. I never felt this kind of love before.. Chaeyoung happened to my life.. And I am very thankful for that. I faced her and she just smiled.

I cupped her face and kissed her on her lips and after I buried my face on her neck, "I love you so much, Chaeng."

I am happy that my love existed. She's all that I want to have forever.. Her warmth, her kind words, her touch.. All of her.. is all that I want and all that I need..
