Noir nearly killed Tsukauchi when he called her half an hour after the incident was reported. She could've gotten it off the Hero Network faster.

The mall was still being cleared out, a couple of whinny adults protesting that they couldn't keep shopping where a child had nearly been murdered. She ignored them and ducked under the caution tape.

"Where's the kid?" She asked the nearest officer. He started pointing and Noir didn't need to wait to hear, she could find the extreme amount of adrenaline radiating off the boy in her sleep. Noir passed the other students; all waiting in the shade until they could leave with their parents. None of them had been together during the incident, so Noir held back the order to separate them.

They needed to stay grounded anyways.

She just hoped Midoriya was holding himself together after Shigaraki had decided to pay him a visit.

Noir rounded a corner and came to where Midoriya was sitting with Tsukauchi and his assistant Tamakawa, the cat dude she'd teased Aizawa about petting before. At least they'd waited until she got here to question Midoriya.

Noir approached, and Tsukauchi stood, "Noir, glad you're here."

She decided to be polite, "Yes." She turned to face Midoriya. He sat in an outdoor café's chair, a water bottle in front of him and a giant yellow backpack by his feet.

"Izuku Midoriya?" Noir asked. She took off her hat, setting it on the table and taking the chair Tsukauchi had vacated.

Midoriya popped his head up. Right, this was broccoli head, the one from Hosu. Why did the same kids always get in trouble?

At least he wasn't the one that went looking for Stain. Practical enough to go help, despite it still being stupid to go without backup. That entire situation was avoidable, but now wasn't the time.

"You're Noir?" He asked.

She pulled out a notepad and gestured for Tsukauchi to sit, "Yup. Been a while. I hoped you'd been well, but now we're here." Tsukauchi took the open seat and dismissed his assistant, now it was just the three of them.

Midoriya shrunk in on himself, "Yeah. Um, I wanted to apologize for Hosu."

Noir paused, "Alright."

"I just..." Midoriya kept looking at the table, "I didn't mean to cause anybody trouble. But I did, and I realized I hadn't apologized to you yet."

Noir nearly ruffled his hair. But she didn't. She smiled, which was pointless because of her mask, and spoke, "I appreciate the sentiment. But right now, we have something a bit more pressing to discuss."

"Ah! Right, I'm sorry." Midoriya bowed his head. Noir clicked her pen, then saw him glance up over her shoulder, "Um, is Kija-senpai here?"

What was Aizawa thinking having Kija as an assistant? That girl had an entire gaggle of children around her and she wasn't even twenty yet. She'd never get rid of these children at this rate. Though, Noir doubted Kija wanted to, the raving she'd done during breaks was enough to see she'd become a foster-older sister already. Everything grew on her with enough time.

Noir clicked her pen, "Vortex won't be here today due to complications." She tipped her head, "She fought me on that, if that puts your mind at ease."

Midoriya blinked, "Ah, right." At least he was perceptive enough to read between the lines.

"Anyways, I don't want to keep you here any longer than I need to," Noir positioned her pad with the questions on it, "So, what exactly did he say to you?"
