A/N: I am so sorry for how long this took.

Kija kept glancing between her friends and any possible escape route to get to the first year's stadium. The tournament round would start any minute now and Kija wanted to watch her underclassmen in person. The idea of talking to Todoroki tugged at the back of her mind and Kija rubbed her arms out of anxiety.
Was it okay to ask him about the abuse when he'd exposed himself to Midoriya barely an hour ago? Did he even want to talk about it? Would talking about it before his match mess him up somehow? Was it even within her right to pry?
Kija gulped, jitters returning for a conversation she needed to have at some point.
Nejire tapped her knuckles on Kija's head, "Hey, you ready for lunch? Or would it be a lunch-dinner since it's later? Hello? Kija?"
Jolting her head up, Kija gulped, she hadn't realized how lost she'd been in her head. Togata and Amajiki weren't with them anymore, probably on their way to lunch. Leaving the two girls alone.
Kija swatted Nejire's hand away, "Yeah I'm here, sorry. I think I'll catch up with you."
Excitement brimmed onto Nejire's face, "That's right! You're going to see the first years! Can I come with?"
"I—" But the rumbling from Nejire's stomach made both girls go quiet. Kija grinned as Nejire's mouth formed into an 'o' shape as she looked down at her stomach.
"I think that's a no," Kija slyly finished.
Nejire pouted, "But I ate enough this morning!"
"Obviously not," Kija joked, momentarily distracted from darker issues, "Don't eat the whole cafeteria dry."
"I wouldn't do that," Nejire huffed.
"Say that to the aghast cooks when you beat the 20-ramen bowl re—"
"Nope!" Nejire grabbed Kija's shoulders and spun her around faster than normally possible, "Go cheer the first years on. Words from their upperclassmen will help them out!" She pushed Kija forward and clapped her hands, "Now, time for food!" She waved at Kija, then marched off towards the main building in search of lunch.
Kija smiled to herself, never let anything get in the way of Nejire when she was hungry. Where else would the girl's insane stamina come from? Turning her attention back to the first years, Kija debating warping straight to the stadium for a minute. Then something, or someone, caught her eye.
Worry laced Kija's face and a sense of urgency overcame her.
Dammit, I thought he'd calmed down enough. Stupid, nonobservant Kija!
Kija fast walked to where Amajiki leaned against a tree, face first and angled half-way out of sight from the student's walkway back to the main building. Trying to act as nonchalant as possible and pushing the whole Todoroki situation aside to help Amajiki right now, Kija furiously glanced everywhere for any signs of Togata. The person able to help Amajiki with his anxiety the best.
Nothing.
Slowing down and ducking into the trees to not draw any more attention to Amajiki—because from how much he was shaking that kind of attention wasn't something he could handle right now—Kija kept her voice calm.
"Hey, you okay?" She asked quietly.
Amajiki flinched, his eyes shot to Kija with an intensity that settled as he realized it was someone he knew. His eyes darted back to the tree and Kija she almost missed the movement, but Amajiki's shaking settled. Only a bit, but it was something.
