"Hey, hey! So, how was the first day?" Nejire looked at Kija wide eyed, the two hadn't had a chance to talk since yesterday and Nejire was hyper to find out about the training exercise.
Kija pursed her lips at the memory, but turned to Nejire, Togata, and Amajiki. She tried to think of something that would describe the whole experience but there wasn't all that much.
She shrugged, "It was okay."
"Okay? That's it?" Togata asked. He couldn't imagine there wasn't something noteworthy.
Kija frowned, "Well...actually. There was this." Kija pulled out her phone and brought up the picture of the giant hole Midoriya had created in the building. She had to smirk at the expressions on her friends faces.
"Who did that?!" Nejire's eyes bugged out of her head as her fork clattered onto her plate.
"This really timid kid if you can believe that. Broke his arm doing it though." It was a good thing Chiyo-san had been able to fix Midoriya up, else that would've been bad. Well, it was bad to begin with.
"Broke his arm?" Amajiki asked, he'd gone a shade paler at the thought.
"Yeah, he's fine now. But, can we not talk about my future headaches?" Kija suggested. Because as capable as the first years had seemed, she could tell they'd be annoying.
"Aww! You already have nicknames for them!" Nejire tipped her head, smiling, "But fine. Wait, are we doing class elections today or tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow." Amajiki said. He froze as Togata narrowed his eyes at Amajiki's plate.
"Anything...interesting today?" Togata asked.
Amajiki glanced down at his plate, "No, nothing today." It just consisted of his normal stuff. Beef, clam, and squid mainly.
Togata's eyes lit up and Kija internally braced herself. She knew what was coming.
"Hey, make sure you don't trip over any clams, you might pull a mussel. Eh?" Togata grinned and nudged Amajiki, trying to see if his pun had landed. It didn't, it really didn't.
Kija rolled her eyes as she picked up some of her own food, "Nice try, but you've used that one before."
The blond sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, "Ah, I did?"
"Hey, hey! It's okay, you still have plenty of cow jokes, don't you?" Nejire asked.
Togata grinned, "Yup! And I can't mess it up since the steaks are high! Eh? Anyone? Anyone?!"
Nejire and Amajiki chuckled at Togata's dismay while Kija let a small smile escape her.
These three were something else, but she liked them. And there was little that could change her mind.

After a day of finally getting third year level training. Which included hostages and fully apprehending a villain, Kija would be back with the first years again tomorrow.
For now, her own class voted on their class reps. A girl named Ria became their class rep and the deputy was a one of the guys, Suwamaru. It was voted on, like every year.
It would be interesting to see who the first years chose as class rep, they'd barley known each other for more than a few days. Chances were everyone would vote for themselves. At least that meant whoever got more than their own vote would have the most trust from their classmates.
If they even chose to vote on it. From what Nejire had told Kija, Aizawa just let the students decide however they wanted. Who knew, Bakugo might intimidate everyone out of the position.
