Hi! This is the first work I'm ever putting out into the world. There are some mature themes and content, I'll warn you what chapters they're in though. But just know there's underlying themes of it so...yeah. And a suggestion, don't read this unless you've watched through season 3 of MHA, else you'll be kind of confused.

Also, special thanks to my awesome friend who unknowingly gave me the confidence to post this through their own actions, you know who you are!  And to the annoying one who's constantly asking to read what I write...if you ever find this...I don't care ;)

Now, to the story!!!!!

~~~
This morning wasn't like most. In three hours, UA would open its gates for the hero course entrance exam.
U.A. only had forty hero course spots open, and being considered one of the best hero schools...ever, they had thousands of applicants flocking to their entrance exams. The same had been true two years ago when Moya Kija, a tall seventeen-year-old girl with short choppy purple hair and similar dark purple eyes had taken it herself. Of course, she'd passed the entrance exam and could now proudly call herself a third-year hero course student at UA.
Kija's hoodie kept her warm as she ran in the cool morning, her hair starting to frame her face from the sweat. The girl breathed as her music pounded in her ears, the playlist coming to an end as she got closer to her home.
Hopefully the zero-pointers aren't any worse than they were for us. But knowing UA, they probably only got harder.
Rounding the corner, Kija came to a stop before her apartments stairs and paused. She started climbing the two flights up to her home and yawned. Today wasn't any different than most of her days off, having only one a week she needed to use them well. Still, Kija was once again hating her night owl tendencies, curse yet bless her work-study. No matter what she tried, the habits she'd built up from it had stuck.
Kija reached for her key and unlocked the door, being extra careful to not make noise, and slowly stepped inside. Sliding off her running shoes in the half-dark half-light apartment, Kija sneaked back into her room. Catching a glance through her older brothers cracked door, Kija tried to prevent the smirk on her face from forming at the sight of him happily snoring away.
Kija walked back to her own room, flicking on the fan before she showered and changed into a clean set of cloths. Her above average height and slightly stocky stature made most of what she wore to be baggy, long sleeve shirts.
She also liked them because they hid her scars.
Kija studied the slight bags under her eyes. She wouldn't have to go into her work study for a few weeks, so hopefully she could get back on a regular sleep schedule.
Her thin lips pulled up into a slight smile as she remembered how much she enjoyed those days. With any luck she'd be able to start her work-study before the sports festival.
Flopping back on her already made bed, Kija raised her phone to her eyes as it gave off a little chirp. Nejire, her best friend since grade school, was texting her about the exams today and asking if Kija thought anyone would destroy one of the zero pointers this year.
Doubt it, Kija responded.
Why not?
No one got it last year, or before
That doesn't mean it still can't happen!!!
Still really doubt it
C'mon! Believe!
You can think that if you want
