Since finding out that we are expecting. Chris has been to every single doctor's appointment I've ever had.
He was beyond excited about finding out our baby's gender that he practically was counting the days till we got to go to our gender reveal appointment.
But little did he know that I had already found out what we were having. so it is a surprise for him.
"So babe what do you think our little jelly bean is?" I asked when he and Dodger came into the room where I was.
He smiles and points to his shirt which reads Future girl dad.
"You're thinking jellybean is a girl?"
"Yep," he replied as he sits next to me.
"what if it's a boy?" I question
"Nah it's a girl I know cause I've got a wonderful feeling about it," he says
"And if you're wrong then what?" I asked
"Than I'll get a future boy dad shirt" he replied
I smiled at how confident he is that our little jellybean is a girl.
"regardless of their gender they will be loved endlessly as I love you endlessly," he tells me
I leaned over and kissed him.
"You'll have to learn so much if it is a girl. I mean you know half of the girl things thanks to your sisters. but there are some things they won't tell you about cause it's personal. but its things you'd have to know and prep for" I tell him
"I am ready for all the girl things that there is to know about from periods to first dates, to first heartbreak," he says
"can you paint nails?" I asked
"I do yours" he replied
"On small hands," I say
"I'll have to try it on Stella or one of my other nieces," he says
"it would be good practice," I tell him
The gender reveal for Chris came he was proudly wearing that future girl dad shirt and he had the biggest smile on his face the whole time.
I laid on the exam table lifted my shirt that I had the writing on it covered so he couldn't tell what the gender was and the ultrasound tech applied the gel then used the probe to smear it around as she messed with the ultrasound machine.
Our jellybean's heartbeat sounded through the air and I was so happy to hear the strong heartbeat.
"Alright are you ready to find out what you're having?" the nurse asked
"Beyond ready" Chris says
"He's been ready since he found out we are expecting" I replied
"it's the best way to go," the nurse says
I looked over at Chris as he looked at the screen trying to find out little jellybean's gender.
"Shall I tell you or you find out with a little message?" she asked
"Please tell us" Chris Answered
"It's a girl," the tech says
Chris looked down at me and tears filled his eyes.
"A girl. I can't believe I was right. I'm having a daughter" he says
He stands up and comes closer to me and kisses me.
"Thank you so much," he says
"welcome" I replied
Meanwhile, the nurse was wiping the gel from my stomach after she had gotten plenty of pictures.
"I will be back" she informs us.
I sit up with Chris's help and fix my shirt.
"You knew?" he asks once he reads my shirt that says Daddy's girl

"How? since when?"
I chuckle.
"I had found out when you were off somewhere with Scott. and I set this up so it is as a gender reveal party but only for you. "
He cups my face and kisses me again.
"Congratulations on a healthy baby girl. I will see you at your next appointment" the nurse says as she came in and handed an envelope of pictures to Chris.
After we thanked her we headed home and Chris called his mom and shared the news before calling his sisters, his dad, & brother telling them the great news.
He took a picture of us standing next to each other showing off our shirts then posted it on the gram before he posted one on Twitter.
