I sat by Bucky in his apartment watching over him as he slept. know that soon he'd be up with a nightmare and I'd be right here for him.
I softly caressed his hair and watched him. when he sat up panting. I pulled him to me.
"It's ok Bucky. I'm here baby, your not in that facility anymore, your not killing people and your memories aren't being wiped." I tell him as I held him
His panting stoped as He nuzzled closer to me.
I smiled and kissed the top of his head before I laid down and pulled him with me. before I started to rub his back.
"I remember the first time I fell in love with you" I start off.
"They brought you into the avengers tower and I looked up to see what you looked like. since I had saw Steve's old new york pictures. and baby you got so much sexier." I say
I felt him smile.
"I mean no wonder women was at your door wanting to date you when you was in the forties." I continued
"you were a very handsome young man who had a panty soaking smile and you carried yourself with pride." I tell him
"but when you stepped foot in the room where I was with your long hair and that mysterious look in your eyes I fell hard."
"you was like a breath of fresh air for me. I felt like you was my angel coming to give me a better life after the hell I was in" he says
"You actually asked me that night when I comforted you after a nightmare if I was an angel in disguise. which I loved " I tell him
"your response was I can be your angle in disguise if you wish" he says
"and you told me that you'd love that." I replied
"you've been my angel in disguise and breath of fresh air since then" he says
"its the only way to be with someone who you care so much about." I remind him
"thank you so much for everything." he says
"it's my pleasure baby" I say
When nothing else was said I knew he was trying to go back to sleep so I held him. letting him relax to the sound of my heart beating. when his breathing slowed I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep myself.
