This is pretty much just going over what you need to know about the characters to understand the book. I'm sure most of you will already know this stuff, but some might not so here you go.

Batman/Bruce Wayne: you already know who this guy is. But if you don't know this, his comic writers apparently all have different opinions on his relationships with his kids. So his fathering can be really bipolar sometimes.
