Michael and (Y/n) were driving home from a baseball game one night and were on the highway. There weren't very many cars but one drunken drive wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and collided into (Y/n)'s car.

Both Michael and (Y/n) passed out on impact but Michael was in much better condition than his father. When they arrived at the hospital Michael was awake and in pain while (Y/n) was still unconscious. The hospital had called Emma since she was Michael's mother and (Y/n)'s emergency contact.

"Michael are you okay?!" Emma asked as she walked into the waiting room and spotted him. "Mhm." He mumbled, resting his head on her shoulder. He only had a broken leg and a few bruises. A doctor came out a few minutes later and walked over to Emma.

"Mrs. Watson. Your son only has a broken leg and a few bruises. Those bruises will heal within a few weeks, maybe two. The leg will take maybe six months but he will be perfectly okay. Your husband on the other hand has a few more injuries." The doctor informed her. She nodded and ushered him to keep going.

"He suffered a severe concussion, broken femur, and a broken arm. He also had some of the glass still in his back so we had to remove that. We advise him to stay here for a few days so we can moderate him." The doctor continued, and Emma released a small sob. Michael wasn't paying attention to what was going on but he knew it was something bad.

They were allowed to go see him so Emma went inside first. "Hey." (Y/n) smiled and waved with his non broken arm. "Hey, why are you so happy?" She asked. "They gave me a lot of drugs. Lots and lots of drugs." He slurred. Emma sat down on the chair next to the bed and held his hand.

(Y/n) wasn't allowed to leave the hospital for a few weeks, but Emma and Michael were there all the time. Everyone was worried about him but they knew he was strong and would push through it.

After those few weeks went by (Y/n) was cleared to go home and got a wheelchair. He wasn't very fond of the wheelchair but after seeing Emma's glare when he said no, he caved in.

Eventually his wounds had gotten better and he was going to physical therapy to start walking again. Within the next few months he could walk again and his life was slowly coming back to normal.

(Maybe a part two coming up but I am not sure yet!)
