"Mum! Dads being crazy!" Charlotte complained while (Y/n) sat on the couch staring at her. "I am not crazy! You are going on a date! With Noah Schnapp!" He groaned.

"So? I'm sixteen, you said I could go on dates when I'm sixteen." She defended. "I changed my mind, you can't date until your thirty." He decided just as Emma came downstairs.

"It will be fine, you like Noah! You said he was nice!" Charlotte mumbled. "Not anymore." (Y/n) grumbled. "(Y/n), you can't stop her from going. She's growing up, and we both know that Noah will keep her safe." Emma reassured her husband.

"You weren't like this when Michael and Sadie started dating." Charlotte brought up. "That was different! It was your mother that freaked out, not me." He defended. "No I didn't! I was perfectly fine!" Emma argued. "You cried right after he left for his first date. And again when he told you Sadie was his girlfriend. And then again when you found out he wanted to go to college in Atlanta so he could be close to her when she was filming." (Y/n) brought up, making Emma shush him. "I was fine! And besides he's going to Stanford so I don't have to worry about him being far away." Emma defended.

"He's here! Dad, be nice." Charlotte told everyone when the doorbell chimed. "No promises." (Y/n) grumbled as Charlotte opened the door.

"Hi! These are for you!" Noah waved and held out the bouquet of flowers. "Thank you! That's so sweet! Let me put them in water and then we can go." Charlotte smiled before going to put them in some water, which was a bad idea because now (Y/n) was alone with Noah.

"Listen, you better treat my daughter right. Or else your gonna regret it. I have eyes and ears everywhere, so don't try to pull anything cause I will find out." He told Noah, sounding quite threatening. "Yes sir." Noah nodded with wide eyes. "(Y/n) leave him alone!" Emma called out from inside. "Sorry Noah, we both trust you. Have fun." Emma apologized just before Charlotte came back.

"I'm ready!" She announced. "Okay! See you guys later!" Noah waved as they both walked off. "Well I'm going to follow them. See you later!" (Y/n) excused himself, being stopped by Emma before he could leave. "No. You are not spying on your daughters first date." Emma commanded and managed to get him to sit down on the couch.

Charlotte and Noah had a wonderful first date, but (Y/n) still didn't like how his daughter was growing up too fast.
