Michael had woken up with a headache and was now lying in his bed with his head buried into his stuffed animals.

"Good morning Michael, time to wake up." Emma whispered while placing a hand on his back. "No." He grumbled, turning over and away from his mother. Emma looked at him in confusion before moving to the other side of him and placing a hand on his forehead. "You're a little warm.." Emma mumbled to herself.

She didn't force Michael to wake up and instead let him sleep while she went to go email Michael's preschool and inform them that he would not be there today since he was sick.

(Y/n) sat in bed with Michael for a while and watched Spider-Man with him on low volume so it didn't make his headache worse. Michael was cuddled up into his fathers side while they both watched Spider-Man in the tiny bed. (Y/n) was nearly falling out but he didn't mind it. Emma got a quick picture of the two boys like that and sent it to Florence.

Eventually they had to pause their movie so Michael could take a bath and take some medicine. After he took his medicine he had some homemade chicken noodle soup for lunch. Emma made the best chicken noodle soup and it was the perfect remedy for colds.

After lunch he took a nap and was asleep for a while. By the time he woke up it was nearly time for dinner. Michael got to sit on the couch and watch a bit of tv while having some apple juice until dinner was ready.

"Michael, dinners ready!" (Y/n) called out from the kitchen. He didn't have the energy to get up so he just continued to sit on the couch until one of his parents noticed. Eventually Emma came and helped Michael get up and make his way to the table.

After eating a few bites of food Michael was done and insisted he watch the rest of Spider-Man with his father. The two of them sat back on the couch and finished the movie before Michael was sound asleep.

(Y/n) brought him up to bed for the night and then went to hang out with Emma until they went to bed, lots of kissing being involved.
