Michael had just passed the test to get his drivers learning permit and was now officially allowed to drive a car with adult supervision.

Emma and (Y/n) had decided that Emma would be the one to teach Michael to drive since (Y/n) had a habit of experiencing road rage quite often.

"Alright, first put your seatbelt on." Emma instructed and Michael put on his seatbelt. Emma gave him a run down on all of the cars functions and how each thing worked before she let Michael start driving.

They were sitting in a parking lot with nobody there so Emma just let Michael drive on his own and helped him with turns and such.

Eventually Emma thought Michael was ready to leave the parking lot and just drive around the neighborhood. She refused to put on music because she thought it would get him distracted, and so they just drove in silence.

"What are you doing?" Emma asked when Michael made a turn into a McDonald's drive through. "I'm getting us food. What do you want?" He asked, and Emma looked at him in shock for a minute before saying she didn't want anything.

After Michael had ordered his food and paid for it, he pulled into a parking spot to eat. "I think I'm doing pretty good." He told his mother as he was eating. "Yes, but talk when your not chewing your food. I can't believe I still have to tell you that. I told you to drive, not stop for food." Emma mumbled. "Sorry." Michael muttered before taking another bite of his food.

Michael had finished his food shortly after and just drove him and Emma around the neighborhood for a while. "Okay, drive us back home." Emma told him, ready to get out of the car. "Alrighty." Michael hummed and started to drive home.

Once they got home Emma got out of the car and took her keys back. "I think I did a pretty good job!" Michael announced. "You did. You're a natural." Emma agreed.

Michael was definitely a good driver and often stopped for food whenever he was driving with (Y/n).
