(Y/n) and Emma went to the same school, but the issue was they never had any classes together. So whenever (Y/n) was in his history class and Emma was at lunch, probably at the library instead of the busy cafeteria, (Y/n) would call her.

"Can I go to the bathroom?" (Y/n) asked while raising his hand. "Yes you may." The teacher told him before going back to the lesson. (Y/n) ran out of the room and ducked into the bathroom and dialed Emma's number.

"(Y/n)? Shouldn't you be in class?" Emma asked, getting right to the point. "Well, yeah. But I'm not." He told her. "Why?" Emma asked again. "Because! Then I wouldn't get to talk to you!" He defended. "We're going on a date after school." Emma pointed out. "Fine, I just cant focus." (Y/n) grumbled.

Emma knew what he was talking about. (Y/n) had a tendency to zone out or get sidetracked often. Emma knew he had Adhd and that made focusing hard for him, but it also didnt allow him to skip class. "Listen, I know you love talking to me and you cant focus, but you need to go back to class." Emma told him without getting an answer.

"Sorry, zoned out again. What did you say?" (Y/n) asked. "I said that you need to go back to class." Emma told him sternly. "Fine, fine. I'll go back. Fun police" (Y/n) grumbled under his breath. "What was that?" Emma asked knowingly. "Oh- uh! Nothing! Bye love you!" (Y/n) hung up quickly and ran back to class.

"Welcome back Mr. (L/n), you sure were gone for a while." His teacher commented. "Sorry. I got water too. Was feeling a bit parched, you know?" (Y/n) explained, walking back to his seat and spending the rest of the class period daydreaming of Emma.
