(Y/n) was doing his workouts in the home gym. He was running on the treadmill when a little boy popped into the room. Michael watched his father run on the treadmill and decided he wanted to work out with his father.

(Y/n)'s attention was still on the treadmill until he felt someone pat his leg. He stopped the machine and let it slow down before turning to Michael. "What are you doing here?" (Y/n) asked his son as the boy stepped on the treadmill. "I wanna do it." He told his father and tried to reach up and touch the start button. "Alright. I'll let you do it, but you have to go super fast." (Y/n) instructed. Michael nodded eagerly and (Y/n) turned the machine back on. He lowered it so for him it would only be walking, but Michael might have to run a bit.

"Okay, you gotta run!" (Y/n) announced once the machine started whirring as the platform moved. Michael started running but it didn't really look like running since he was so little, it really just looked like he was doing very fast high knees. "Keep going!" (Y/n) announced and clapped to cheer on his son. Emma soon walked in, probably since she couldn't find Michael, and saw the two of them by the treadmill. "He's doing pretty good." (Y/n) told her.

After two more minutes Michael had enough. "Done now!" He announced and got off the treadmill. His next workout was the weights. He tried picking up two twenty pound weights, which his father quickly took away from him. "Let's try a different one. Use these." (Y/n) announced, grabbing two five pound weights.

Michael could only lift one and he had to use both hands but he was having a lot of fun. Emma was laughing and taking pictures while (Y/n) was watching and making sure Michael was safe.

"I wanna do a new one." Michael decided and put his weight down. He moved onto the bike machine and tried climbing onto it. (Y/n) lifted him up and adjusted the pedals for him.

The rest of the day was spent watching Michael try different workout machines and (Y/n) supervising while Emma laughed at Michael's attempt of trying to be like his father and also took pictures.
