Emma Watson Oneshots and Imagines Book Three

Pressure

Michael had been under a lot of pressure lately. He had started getting a lot more homework than usual and it was getting harder and harder to complete all the work.

It certainly was taking a toll on him. He didn't have time for hanging out with friends and going on dates with Sadie, or even taking a break from schoolwork. He would spend all afternoon doing his homework and almost all night doing it as well. The only break he took was to have dinner.

"Michael, I expected better from you." His English teacher told him after giving back his essay. He had gotten a seventy one. He nodded before his teacher walked away and then put the paper in his backpack.

Michael went home once school was over and instantly started doing his homework. By the time dinner was ready, he wasn't even halfway done.

"Michael! Dinners ready!" Emma shouted from the kitchen. "Coming!" He told his parents before finishing up one last question and walking downstairs.

"So, what have you been up to?" (Y/n) asked once Michael sat down. "Homework." Michael responded before taking a bite of his food. "You have that much homework?" Emma asked, shocked. Michael mumbled in agreement before continuing to eat. "Why?" Charlotte asked, not really focusing on the conversation. "I dunno." He shrugged before taking another bite of his food.

"Bring it down here and I'll help you with it." Emma told her son before they stopped talking about school and just ate their dinner.

Once dinner was over Michael brought his math homework downstairs for Emma to help him. Together they got through most of the homework he needed to get done.

"Now if you ever have a lot of homework we can do it together. You don't need to shut yourself out and do it all by yourself. There's nothing wrong with getting help on things." Emma told Michael as he put his folders back into his backpack.

With Emma's help Michael was able to get a lot of his work done faster and he had more time to be with his friends and family.
