Emma Watson Oneshots and Imagines Book Three

Grandparents

Today Jaqueline and Chris were coming over to see Emma, (Y/n), and Michael. Emma and Chris were going to an awards show that Emma was invited to later that night. Chris went to all of her shows, so it only made sense he went to this one too.

"Hi guys!" (Y/n) waved when he answered the door and saw his parent in laws outside. "Hello (Y/n)!" Jaqueline said while giving him a hug. Chris gave his son in law a hug as well before being invited inside.

"Emma's upstairs getting ready with Michael. They'll be down soon." (Y/n) told the two, offering them tea while they waited. Once their tea was ready they sat down in the living room and made small talk for a few minutes.

"Hi mum, hi dad!" Emma announced her presence, walking down the stairs with Michael in her arms. Michael started babbling to Emma and nobody could understand him, but it was cute.

Emma sat down on the couch with Michael in her lap, the boy showing off his toy that he had. He handed his toy to his grandfather to play with before trying to go grab another. Emma set him down next to her on the couch so he could play.

(Y/n) handed Michael another toy, and the boy gave it to his grandmother. Now that both of his grandparents had toys, he needed one. Emma handed him one of his Spider-Man toys that Florence got for him, and Michael played with that one.

"He wants you all to play together." Emma told her parents, watching Michael try to point his Spider-Man at his grandparents.

The three of them all sat down on the living room floor and started to play with their toys. Emma got all of her stuff ready for when she had to leave later before coming back and watching her son and her parents play together.

Even (Y/n) got to join in when Michael gave him one of the Spider-Man villain toys. Michael started laughing when (Y/n) did an impression of the villain and used his toy to attack Spider-Man.

"Dad, we need to go soon." Emma told her father, who nodded and got up. "Let me go get changed and then we can go." He told his daughter, taking the bag he brought and going into one of the bathrooms.

"I'm going to steal Michael from you two for a minute, I have to feed him." Emma told her husband and her mother. "Do you need me to do it? Your already in your outfit, I don't want it to get dirty." (Y/n) offered. "No it's alright, I've got it. Thank you though." Emma dismissed and gave him a quick kiss. (Y/n) and Jaqueline both nodded and let her take Michael.

Once Michael was fed, Emma got her purse and waited for her dad. Chris came down a few minutes later and they both left shortly after.

Now it was just (Y/n), Jaqueline and Michael. (Y/n) didn't mind being alone with Jaqueline, he had known her since he was eleven from his and Emma's Harry Potter days.

"Do you want to watch the show? I usually put it on for Michael. He goes absolutely crazy whenever he sees Emma on Tv." (Y/n) asked. "Sure, that would be nice." Jaqueline responded.

(Y/n) turned the Tv on for Michael to watch while him and Jaqueline talked about Emma and Michael. "I mean I usually get the hard job like changing him. We take turns when he wakes up. Like first Emma will go and then the next time he wakes up I'll go. But Emma's the only one who can feed him unless she like prepares it before. So she gets to feed him and then I get the not so fun job." (Y/n) explained to his mother in law.

Their conversation was cut short when Emma came onto the Tv, causing Michael to try and get his fathers attention and point at the Tv. "Yeah, that's your mummy on the Tv!" (Y/n) agreed when he saw Michael pointing at the Tv. Michael started trying to hand his toys to Emma on the Tv and got a bit upset when she didn't take them.

"Michael, she's not here. She's on the Tv, she'll be back to play with you later." (Y/n) comforted and picked up his son. He sat back on the couch with Michael in his lap, who's eyes were still focused on his mother on the Tv.

Soon enough it was time for Michael to get ready for bed. Jaqueline continued to watch the awards show while (Y/n) got Michael ready for bed. He came back down a half hour later without Michael.

The two adults continue to watch the show and once it was over Jaqueline took the guest room and went to sleep. Emma was going to the afterparty so (Y/n) just decided to go to sleep now and hopefully wake up when she gets back to hear how the show was.

When Emma arrived home she said goodbye to her dad before he went to his hotel. When she went inside and saw all the lights off. She knew everyone was asleep and walked upstairs to go to her room.

Emma peeked into Michael's bedroom to see him asleep in his crib with his blanket over him and with all of his stuffed animals. She walked in and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead before leaving the room and going to her and (Y/n)'s room.

She walked in and saw (Y/n) was asleep. She got in her pajamas and brushed her teeth before getting into bed with her husband.
