On an autumn morning Emma and (Y/n) were up double checking if they packed everything they needed. The family was going to America for one of (Y/n)'s upcoming films. While (Y/n) was making sure they had everything, Emma went to go wake Michael up. She stepped into the room, the sunlight peeking through the curtains. The young boy was still asleep but there would be plenty of time for that on the plane ride. Emma stroked his hair lightly, before picking him up and holding him in her arms, trying to wake him up.

"Michael, wake up, we need to get ready for the airplane." Emma whispered, softly patting his back to wake him up. "Mama..." The boy mumbled, shoving his head into the crook of her neck, trying to stay asleep. "Mama's here, I know you're tired, it's early for you. But we have a long day today, you need to be awake to play on the plane. You are going to have such a fun day Michael, there's going to be loads of playtime with mama and dada. Doesn't that sound fun? You get to play with mama and dada all day baby, you just have to wake up." Emma cooed, kissing his forehead, before getting Michael ready for the day and brining his stuff to the front of the house.

Michael was a little more awake by then but not too much. They had most of their stuff that they would need in America already, they shipped all of it to their house in LA weeks ago, so they didn't have to worry about all of their stuff. Once they made sure they had absolutely everything they needed, the family got in the car and went to the airport. They weren't going to the regular airport though; they were going to a private one.

Since they were taking a private jet they had to go to a certain airport. Once they arrived they got onto the plane and sat down. Their flight was a bit longer than most of the time since they were flying to LA instead of NYC.

Once they had gotten situated, the flight attendant gave them the safety overview and they took off. "Look Michael! There's London! There's our house down there, right there." Emma exclaimed, showing Michael where their house was. "Say bye bye London!" Emma cooed. "Bye bye!" Michael repeated, patting his hand on the window.

Once they couldn't see London anymore, Michael started to play with his toys. "Dada! Dada play!" Michael called, (Y/n) looking up from his phone to see Michael with two of his cars in hand. (Y/n) took one of the cars from his son and the two played with his toy cars on the table. Michael was sat on Emma's lap while she read her book. After another half hour Michael started to doze off. Emma noticed this and got up with her son in her arms. "He's getting sleepy. I'm going to go put him down for a nap." Emma whispered to her husband, who nodded. They had a small bedroom in the back of their plane. It was meant for overnight flights, but it was perfect for Michael to take a quick nap on, even though he normally slept in a crib, this would be fine for now.

Emma gave him his pacifier and lied him down on the bed, tucked him under the covers and got back up to leave. "Mama stay." Michael whimpered while starting to cry and not wanting her to leave. "It's okay baby, mama's here. Don't cry, Mama's not leaving." Emma whispered, smiling at her son and kissing the top of his head, holding him in her arms before he fell asleep. She caved in and ended up sitting with him as he slept, the soft snores being heard. She opened her book back up, trying to read as her son slept, still keeping his grip on her.

(Y/n) was still sat in his seat wondering when Emma was coming back since Michael should've fallen asleep by now. Eventually he had gotten up and went into the small bedroom, to see his wife on the bed reading her book with their son holding onto her. Emma and (Y/n) traded places, Emma going back out while (Y/n) stayed with Michael. He swapped Emma with one of Michael's stuffed animals and himself, holding the boy in his arms so he didn't wake up. (Y/n) placed him back on the bed and the boy continued to sleep.

After an hour, Michael started to stir, holding onto his stuffed dog. The boy opened his eyes to see his father on his phone. "Dada.." Michael mumbled tiredly, as (Y/n) picked him up and kissed his cheek. "Yeah, Dada's here...do you wanna go and play with your toys?" (Y/n) asked and Michael nodded. He put the pacifier away and the two walked out of the bedroom and back into the main area of the plane with Michael motioning to his toys that were on the table.

(Y/n) sat down with Michael on his lap and the two played with the toy cars again. Emma took a picture of the two and smiled at the photo. "Mama! Car!" Michael exclaimed again, handing a car to his mother. "Thank you baby." Emma cooed, joining the two in playing with the cars. The three played with the toy cars and then lunch was served.

Since they had flown private the plane had food for them to have as meals. They weren't getting into LA until late that night so they were having lunch and dinner on the plane. Emma fed Michael his food before eating her own and they ended up falling asleep on the slightly reclined chair soon after.

Michael was clinging to his mother in his sleep and Emma was holding him close. (Y/n) snapped a photo of the sight on his phone and sent it to Emma. She wouldn't get the photo until they landed but he knew it was probably going to be her phone background. By the end of the flight they had played with a lot of toys and read a lot of stories before Michael was out for the night.

The two walked off the plane with Michael asleep in (Y/n)'s arms. Luckily they didn't have any run ins with the paparazzi while leaving the airport because Michael would have definitely woken up from their camera's.

Although Emma thought she saw some in the distance, she didn't dwell on it. They made it to the house and (Y/n) brought the bags in, while Emma put Michael in his crib. Both parents got in bed together before falling asleep, ending the hectic yet fun day there.
