Michael had been given a baby blanket from Emma three years ago. He had gotten it when he was born but couldn't use it right away. She had knitted it for him over the course of her pregnancy. It was a light blue color and had little yellow ducks on it.

It was a fairly big blanket so he could always use it and not be too big for it. It may have been too big for him when he was a newborn, but he quickly grew into it and now the blanket was his favorite.

Michael took that blanket with him everywhere. Bedtime, sleepovers with Florence or his grandparents, doctors appointments, vacations, anywhere he could take it, his blanket would be right by his side. It was his comfort item.

Today Michael's preschool didn't have any classes so he went to set with his mother, his blanket going with him. He spent the day on her chair with his blanket filling out different coloring books while Emma did her scenes. He even let her put up some of his drawings of their family and Spider-Man in her dressing room. The only condition was that he signed them.

However Michael had forgotten it when they left and it was lying in his mothers dressing room. Nobody had noticed the blanket wasn't there until it was time for bed. Michael was all in his pajamas and ready to go to sleep but all he was missing was his blanket.

"Come on, get your blanket and let's go upstairs." Emma told him. Michael looked around the house for his blanket and ran back to his mother in tears. "I can't find it!" He told his mother while crying. Emma picked him up and tried to soothe him "I'm sure it's here somewhere. We can look for it together." Emma reassured before helping him look all around the house.

When Michael couldn't find it even with Emma's help, he started crying even more. "It's okay, when do you remember having it?" Emma asked him while trying to soothe him. "When we went to the set." Michael mumbled while burying his head in his mothers chest. "Alright, we can go look for it." She whispered to him while going to get in the car.

The drive to the set was quick and soon enough Emma and Michael were there. Emma took Michael inside and let him walk around to look for his blanket. Eventually he had wandered into his mothers dressing room. It was filled with different costumes, drawings, pictures of Michael and (Y/n), and a few toys. Her dressing room was very neat even with all of the stuff inside of it and Michael had spotted his blanket quickly.

"Mummy! I found it! I found it!" Michael shouted with glee as he ran to grab his blanket. "You got it!" Emma cheered when he ran back with his blanket. They got back in the car and left set right after.

Michael had fallen asleep in the car, the blanket being hugged to his chest. When they arrived back at the house Emma got Michael into bed and put his blanket over him.

"Where did you go?" (Y/n) asked when Emma walked into their bedroom. "Michael left his blanket on set. We had to go get it, otherwise he would be up crying all night." Emma explained while changing into her pajamas. "You are an amazing mum, you know that?" (Y/n) complimented, making Emma smile. "Thank you." She responded before getting into bed with her husband.

The two spent the rest of the night cuddling before they fell asleep. A few hours later Michael came wandering into his parents room and snuggled in between them, his blanket resting over the family as they slept peacefully.
