Michael was playing with (Y/n) and pretending he was Spider-Man. His dad was the villain and Michael was chasing him around the house trying to shoot webs at him.

"Pew pew pew!" Michael shouted as he chased his dad down the stairs and creating quite the ruckus. "You can't catch me! I'm gonna take over the world!" (Y/n) said in a villain accent. "Pew! Now I webbed you!" Michael told him, and his father pretended to fall onto the ground.

"Oh no!" (Y/n) groaned, trying to struggle out of the imaginary webs. Emma walked out of her home office, finally finishing up a whole day of going to different online meetings and filling out paperwork, to see (Y/n) struggling on the floor and Michael pretending to web him.

Emma scooped up Michael into her arms and played along. "I've captured Spider-Man! Now the villains win!" She announced in a villain accent.

"Mummy! You have to be on my side!" Michael groaned, squirming around in his mothers arms. Eventually she put him down and Michael pretended to web her. "I win!" Michael cheered and jumped up and down in victory as Emma went down to the ground.

(Y/n) stood up and helped Emma up before they kept playing, but this time Emma was on Michael's side. They moved out to the backyard and Michael and Emma chased (Y/n) while pretending to web him.

"Pew pew pew!" Michael shouted and pretended to web his dad onto the floor. "Wait! I need to get something!" Michael told his parents before running inside. "Don't run near the pool!" Emma shouted after the boy once he got near the pool, making him walk past it before continuing to run.

(Y/n) started to get up before Emma stopped him. "You're still webbed. Get down." She told him and he nodded before getting back into position.

Michael came back with his Spider-Man mask and his web shooters that just shoot out silly string. The web shooters were a present from Florence but Emma's one rule for them was that Michael could never use them inside the house because the silly string would get the house messy, but now they were outside so he can use them.

"Pew pew pew!" Michael giggled while firing the web shooters onto his dad, getting him covered in silly string. He did the same thing to his mother before (Y/n) started chasing him again. Emma managed to get all the silly string off of her while (Y/n) chased Michael around the backyard.

"Mummy! Help me!" Michael shouted through laughter as he continued to run away from his father, who was slowly getting tired. Michael ran into Emma's awaiting arms and she scooped him up.  Michael nestled into her and closed his eyes as he rested his head on her chest.

Emma gently took Michaels Spider-Man mask off him and the boy took one last shot at his father, getting silly string in his face. "Let's go inside, I think we're all tired." She announced and brought everyone inside.

(Y/n) had to wait by the door so he could get the silly string off of him before coming back inside. Emma didn't want any of it on the furniture or in the house.

Once (Y/n) got all of the silly string off and came back inside, he walked into his and Emma's bedroom to see her and Michael reading a book together. He went into the bathroom to go take a shower while Emma and Michael read their book.

"How about you read this part right here, and then I'll read the rest." Emma told Michael, pointing to a line in the book. "The...cat..." Michael started before getting stuck. "What's that word next to cat? You know that word, we say it all the time." Emma asked him. Michael spent a minute trying to read it before Emma helped. "That says went. The cat went..." She told her son before having him continue.

"The..cat..went..to..the..." Michael read before getting stuck on another word. "Stop." Michael finished, not getting the word quite right. "That word is store. Not stop. Like when we have to get food we go to the store." Emma explained to him.

"The cat..went to the..store." Michael finished, reading the whole sentence slowly but perfectly. "Good job!" Emma praised and gave her son a kiss on the cheek. She started to read the rest of the book while (Y/n) came and sat down. He sat on the other side of Emma, cuddling up with her. Michael was also cuddled up to her, his head resting by her chest while his body was cuddled into her side

Once Emma finished the book she looked up and saw Michael and (Y/n) both asleep peacefully. Emma joined the two of them and fell asleep as well, ending their Sunday with a story.
