Michael had a big test coming up in his math class and he was not good at any of the stuff that was going to be on the test. So he had already accepted his grade was going to be bad and just decided to forget about it.

"Michael, have you started studying?" Emma asked once she got home from filming and saw him playing video games in his room. "Uh huh." He nodded, not taking his eyes off the game. "So if I asked you any question that would be on the test you would be able to answer it?" She continued, and once again Michael nodded without even paying attention to what she said.

"What is a alternate exterior angle?" Emma asked. "Seven." Michael responded halfway through her question and didn't take his eyes off the video game. Emma turned off the Tv and that finally made her son look at her. "Mum! Why'd you do that?!" He groaned.

"You need to study!" Emma told him, taking the controller out of his hand and making him stand up. She brought him down to the kitchen table and gave him the study guide packet. "Cant I just quit school?" Michael groaned while placing his head on the table. "Nope. Start studying. I expect this packet to be done by dinner, otherwise we will be working on the entire thing together. And I won't be doing all the work for you." She commanded and gave him a pencil.

"By dinner?! This is six pages long!" Michael complained, and Emma just shrugged. "You would've had more time if you actually did it instead of playing video games. Now get to work." She told him.

With that Emma made her way into her office to finish up some paperwork while Michael was working on his packet.

Michael started working and used his notes to understand a few problems. He wasn't making much progress but it was something.

Eventually he had managed to get three pages done and had twenty minutes until dinner. He rushed through the rest of it but managed to finish it within five minutes before dinner.

"Did you finish?" Emma asked expectantly. Michael handed her the packet and she looked through it before handing it back to him. "Go put it in your backpack. Then come back for dinner." She instructed, lightly pushing him over to where his backpack was.

He sat back down for dinner with his parents and dug into his food right away. Emma was telling (Y/n) about Michael's math test and how he did a good job on the study guide. "Why didn't you just use photomath? It's so much easier." (Y/n) asked. "Dang it! That would've been so much easier! Why didn't I think of that?" Michael exclaimed. "Because you aren't going to cheat on your schoolwork!" Emma answered his question for him. "Yeah, what she said." Michael grumbled.
