Today Michael had a baseball game and Sadie was going to watch. She had been back in LA after wrapping up filming for stranger things and after the baseball game her and Michael were going out.

Of course in true Sadie fashion, she had made a poster for Michael. Emma had helped her with it of course, and Charlotte just laughed about how both her and Michael simped for each other.

Michael was already at the field when Sadie had arrived. His team was practicing their throwing and mostly on throwing the ball from base to base.

Sadie found Emma and (Y/n) in the stands and sat down next to them. She got her poster ready and let (Y/n) admire Sadie and Emma's work. "Looks good." (Y/n) complimented and gave the two a thumbs up. "Thank you. Where's Charlotte?" Sadie asked while looking around. "She is at dance practice." Emma answered.

The game started soon enough and Michael's team was in the field first. He was on third base and had his glove ready in case of a pop fly.

Luckily Michaels team had a really good pitcher and struck out the first two people. The third person hit a pop fly to second base and the second baseman caught it.

Michael was the second person in the batting order and was back on the field within minutes. The boy who went before him was on second base and now Michael had to hit it pretty far so that teammate could score.

"Go Michael!" Sadie cheered as he walked up to home plate. She held up her poster for him and got a thumbs up on it from him. Michael turned his attention back to the pitcher and got in position to hit the ball.

"Strike one!" The umpire shouted after Michael swung and missed the ball. The second pitch was a very good pitch and Michael managed to hit the ball to the very far end of the field.

"Safe!" The umpire shouted once Michael managed to get to third base just before the ball could touch him. "Woohoo!!" Emma and Sadie cheered once they heard the umpire declare Michael was safe.

The next person was up to bat and he had hit in in the opposite direction from Michael, meaning he was able to run home and score. He did a little victory dance when he passed home plate and got many high fives and pats on the back from his teammates.

After another round of Michael's team in the field, they went back into the batting area. This time Michael wasn't first to bat so he managed to get some water and sunflower seeds.

"Yo is your girlfriend here? The redhead?" Michael's teammate best friend, Andrew, asked. "Yeah! She's back for a few months." Michael nodded before drinking some more water. "She made you a poster. Go Michael, number four rocks!" Andrew read the poster. "Yep." Michael nodded and got up once he realized he was next to bat.

Michael took a few practice swings while his other teammate was batting before it was his turn. As he walked over he looked at the people on base and concluded he needed to hit a home run for his team to get ahead.

Michael looked over at his coach and saw that he was letting him do whatever before getting into his position. "Ball one!" The umpire called out after the pitcher threw the ball and it went way outside of the batters box. "Ball two!" The umpire called out again when the same thing happened. Michael realized the other team was trying to get him to walk instead of getting the opportunity for a home run.

When the ball was thrown again, Michael moved over a bit and hit the ball as hard as he could. The ball flew outside of the field and Michael's team started cheering and clapping as he ran down the bases, doing little victory dances as he ran. When he got to home plate he jumped onto it and was enveloped in a group hug and all of them jumped up and down in happiness.

"Yay Michael!" Emma cheered while (Y/n) was shouting "That's my son!" To all of the parents. Sadie was laughing at the two parents and made eye contact with Michael, giving him a smile and thumbs up. He returned the smile and winked at her before going back to celebrating with his teammates.

The game was soon over and Michael's team ended up winning by two points. Once the game was over he met up with his parents and Sadie. Since him and Sadie were going out for dinner, he put his baseball bag in his parents car and took his bag of clean clothes. Emma insisted on getting a picture of Michael and Sadie with the poster they made before leaving.

"Michael! We're going to In and out to celebrate! Wanna join?" Anthony, another one of his teammates called out. "Cant! I'm going out with my girlfriend!" Michael shouted back, doing jazz hands at Sadie. "Bring her with you!" Andrew added, and Michael shook his head. "She's vegan! Just go without me!" He told them.

"Now, shall we get going?" Michael asked while offering his hand out. "We shall." Sadie smiled while nodding. The two got into the car and drove off to one of Sadie's favorite vegan restaurants.

"You know your covered in baseball dirt right?" Sadie asked when they stepped inside of the restaurant. Michael hasn't had a chance to change out of his baseball uniform yet. "I know. Want a hug?" He offered, going to wrap his arms around her before she moved away. He just held up his bag with clean clothes in it as a response.

Once the two got to their table Michael went into the bathroom and changed his clothes. His hair was still a bit messy but he tried his best to make it look nice.

When Michael was finished changing he came back and sat down next to Sadie. They were sitting outside since it was a nice night and the weather was good. She told him all sorts of stories about filming and other things while she was in Atlanta before their food arrived.

After their meal they went to the vegan ice cream shop for dessert. "This is actually so good." Michael commented after having some of his ice cream. Sadie nodded in agreement before Michael had to be home because of his curfew.

"You can come in if you'd like. I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind it." Michael offered once they pulled into the Watson-(L/n) house. "Sure." Sadie agreed before they got out of the car and went inside.

Emma and (Y/n) we're watching a movie in the living room and didn't notice Michael and Sadie come inside. After saying a quick hello the young couple went upstairs. "Keep the door open!" Emma called out after them.

The rest of the night was spent watching movies and cuddling on Michael's bed, with the door closed because everyone went to bed a few minutes after they started their movies.
