2.2. Avengers Initiative

Avengers?

Helicarrier, 2012 (one year later)

Costia was sitting in one of the many laboratories of the Helicarrier trying to find the Tessaract. It got stolen from someone who named himself 'Loki', so everyone at Shield did all they could to get it back. Costias job was to try to locate it and that was what she was trying to do.

Natasha was currently somewhere in Europe, she was collecting information on an undercover mission. Costia was worried like always but she knew Natasha was the best in her field and could handle it.

Costia was extra worried at that time though because Clint got compromised by Loki, he also took some other agents and a professor. Coulson was currently informing Natasha about what happend so she'll have to get back from her mission earlier than planned.

"Hey Cos," Maria greeted Costia when she walked in the lab, "come to the conference room in five. Fury wants to talk to you and Natasha." she said catching Costias attention with the last part. "She's finally back?" she said smiling. Natasha was only a week gone but Costia always missed her, a lot.

When Costia reached the converence room Natasha was already there, the same worry showing on her face as in Costias. The women gave each other a quick smile before Costia sat down next to the redhead.

"We need help from outside to find the the Tesseract, I know you're doing the best you can agent Reyonoff but we don't know what Loki is cable of with this extrem power so we have to find it. Quickly." Fury said from oppsite the table, "It's best if we put through the Avengers Initiative. You two will be part of it as we planned."

He continued talking after he got nods from each of them, "Steve Rogers also known as Captain America, Bruce Banner also known as The Hulk and Tony Stark will be part of the team too. They all have skills that can be helpful for finding the Tesseract."

"Agent Romanoff," he said looking in Natashas direction, "You will fly to Banners current location with a backup team. He hasn't truned into the Hulk in a very long time, so it seems like he got more control of himself and his green ego."

"Agent Reyonoff, you will fly to the Stark tower and get Tony. He won't want to come willingly since he just moved in his new fancy tower so bring some of your research to show him how serious the situation is. I will deal with Steve Rogers." He finished and Natasha and Costia quickly made their way to the jets.

Costia walked Natasha to her jet before getting into hers, "Be careful please, Banner may hasn't turned into the Hulk in a long time but you never know. I've seen some videos of him in the Hulk form, he is really... impressive and not in a good way." Costia told her, Natasha could read the worry from her eyes. She smiled softly taking Costias hands in her own, "Your soft side is so cute" she said chuckeling. "Oh my god, shut up I just want you to be safe." Costia felt her cheeks burn.

"Always." she said before she got into the jet, making Costia go to hers.

The last time Costia interacted with Stark... well it's possible he doesn't like her or Natasha that much so she wasn't sure how this was gonna go.

Costia landed on the Stark tower wondering why there wasn't any security stopping her from doing so. She made her way to the elevator, it was passcode secured but wasn't that hard to hack, at least not for Costia. She clicked a few buttons on her tablet and the doors opened. "Boy, you really need to work on your security." she whisperd towards the camera when she got in the elevator.

She got into the security cameras and found the floor Tony, was currently on. Pepper Potts was with him, they were drinking champagne. Costia assumed they were celebrating the almost-finish of the Stark tower. Costia has worked along with Pepper a few times before, she really is a nice woman. Also Tony and Pepper are finally together.
