Beep Beep
It was later in the evening. For some reason Thor wandered of, he said he wanted answers.
Natasha and Costia were sitting at the dining table, Lila was just showing them a picture she had drawn, Costia smiled at her as she took it. It was a yellow butterfly flying in the sky, really cute.
All the Avengers expect Thor were there. Fury had joined them, it wasn't much of a surprise for either of them that he'd show up. They just had dinner together which was kind of weird, it was so family-ish.
"Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time. My contacts all say he's building something. The amount of vibranium he made off with, I don't think it's just one thing." Fury said as he did the dishes, something the spies never thought they'd see him do.
"What about Ultron himself?" Steve wondered, he was leaning against the wall between the kitchen and living room.
"Oh, he's easy to track. He's everywhere. The guy is multiplying faster than a Catholic rabbit." Fury said while Costia stood up, "I'll help Laura bring the kids to bed." Costia said to Natasha when Lila pulled her by her hand towards the stairs.
She was aware that what Fury told them was probably important but she wanted to spent time with the kids, so she did. She made that decision.
She kissed Lila goodnight and covered her up with her blanket, Laura was doing the same with Cooper. "Good night, little angel." Costia said when she turned off the lamp from the room.
"Good night, auntie Cos." the little girl whispered, Costia quickly made her way downstairs. She didn't want to miss that much more of the conversation.
"Outwit the platinum bastard." was the first thing she heard when she walked back in the room. She smiled at what was about to come.
"Steve doesn't like that kind of talk." Natasha mocked the Captain. Costia sat down next to her as she laughed, that joke would never get old.
"You know what, Romanoff?" Steve rolled his eyes, Natasha smirked at him.
"So what does he want?" Fury got back to the important part of the conversation.
"To be better." Costia looked around in the room, "Better than us. Especially better than Stark."
"He keeps building bodies." Steve agreed.
"Person bodies." Stark corrected, "The human from is inefficient. But he keeps coming back to it."
"When you two programmed him to protect the human race, you amazingly failed." Natasha stated.
"But they don't need to be protected." Costia realised, she took the picture Lila had drawn in her hand, the one of the butterfly. Natasha looked at her confused.
"They need to evolve." Costia said as she laid the picture back down, "Ultron is going to evolve."
"How?" Fury questioned, he had always saluted the womans fast thinking, the way she thought ten steps ahead.
"Has anyone talked to Helen Cho after our mission?" Costia questioned. They all realised what she was thinking about. Ultron was building a body.
"We need to get to Korea, quickly." Steve said as he stood up, everyone doing the same.
They all quickly packed their things, it wasn't much anyways.
"Okay. Nat, Clint, you're with me. We're going to Korea. Tony, you go to Oslo, see if someone else is involved, come to Korea after. Costia go to back to the tower with Fury and Bruce. You can search for information there." Steve said as they all walked in the direction of the Quinjet.
