Suddenly Costia was in a bright white room. There was nothing but this room. She couldn't breathe. The oxygen in the room got less and less.

Someone was hitting her cheek. She wanted to grab their hand to make them stop. She was too weak.

Someone pulled her out of that room. She opened her eyes. She looked around while she was still gasping for air.

She was in the Quinjet along with all her team members, most of them looked horrible. Clint was the one who had woken her up, "Hey." he smiled.

"Не трогайте меня!"(don't touch me) Costia hissed as she slapped Clints hand away and pulled her legs to her chest. She tasted something salty in her mouth, it couldn't be tears. She wasn't allowed to cry.

Costia was disorientated, her eyes darted around in the room not recognising anyone or anything.

"It's me. Look at me." he tried to calm her down, it didn't work. He looked so worried. Why did he look so worried?

He glanced behind Costia. She'd turn around too but quickly shut her ears with her hands when she heard her own screams.

She was a monster. She had killed her best friend.

These two sentences kept repeating themselves in her head, she winced at the loudness of them.

Clint walked back to the copilot seat, leaving the job to calm Costia down to his best friend. He probably wouldn't help that much anyways.

Costia smelled Natasha, soon she realised that was because she was sitting between Natashas legs. She quickly turned around and hugged her, tears already making their way out of her eyes.

"Natalia, ты жива!"(you're alive) the blonde woman exclaimed as she laid her head on Natashas shoulder. The redhead wasn't confused by the name Costia called her, she assumed she had seen things from their shared past. Natasha had too.

Costia absolutely hated showing sadness in front of everyone, including herself. But she just couldn't hold the tears back.

Natasha just held her girlfriend, she didn't say anything, she didn't even move much. She saw horrible things too, she was just better at hiding  her emotions than Costia.

It didn't take an expert to see that she was shaken up too though, there was still sweat on her forehead and she wasn't completely conscious.

Costia broke the hug before she sat down on next to the redhead. She looked around in the jet, it took a while but she realised where she was now. She remembered that she had escaped the horrors from her past and that she was safe now.

Natasha took Costias cold hands in her own, they weren't that much warmer though.

"We're safe." Natasha said to Costia and herself, both of them were still shaking.

"Yeah." Costia realised. She wasn't the terrified fifteen year old girl, she was a grown up woman.

The two heard Tony talking to Maria Hill in the distance, he was sitting on the copilot seat.

'How's the team?' Costia heard her best friend say through the radio. She recognised Marias voice.

Stark looked around in the jet, Wanda didn't hit him again.

His eyes clung to Costia longer than to the other Avengers, she was still crying. This was the first time Tony had seen her cry. The first time for everyone in the jet had.

"Everyone's..." he said as his eyes trailed back to the front, "We took a hit. We'll shake it off."

'Well, for now, I'd stay in stealth mode and stay away from here.' Maria suggested.
