Family Reunion

"Oh, save me please." Costia mumbled as she put on the seatbelt which was attached to her seat, everyone else did the same. The fuel was in fact not enough until St. Petersburg but Yelena realized that too late. So now they were loosing on height, very rapidly.

They heard the engine of the aircraft power down. A few seconds later they crashed on the ground rather rough, Costia groaned because the pain from her wound encased again. It actually didn't seem to get better, only worse. "Enough for St. Petersburg my ass..." Costia mumbled while Natasha opened the side door of the helicopter. All of the women were pissed off.

They had fallen onto a roadway in the middle of nowhere. Natasha sighed as she stepped out, helping Costia right after. The other two followed them quickly, Yelena still carried the bag with the vinyls inside. They would need them if they got to the widows.

Costia turned around to look at the damage, there was dark smoke coming out of the helicopter. Never a good sign. The group of four looked around, only seeing the seemingly endless wilderness. A car or some other sort of vehicle would've been super nice.

"You should've brought the Avengers' super jet." Alexei mumbled while the three widows already started to stroll away. Costia glared at him, not at all amused by his ironic attitude.

"I swear, if I hear one more word from him, I will kick him in the face." Yelena grumbled as they walked away from the helicopter, and Alexei, in quick steps. "He's the worst." Natasha said softly. "I already hate him, and I only know him for maybe an hour." Costia added.

"Natasha." Alexei's voice sounded from behind them. The redhead didn't bother to turn around. She hated that they needed him to lead them to Melina. "Natasha. Natasha." He repeated as he jogged towards them. "Come here, I want to ask you something." He said while walking a little behind the group.

Natasha exchanged a glance with her wife before she walked slower so she could listen to what Alexei had to ask. Yelena and Costia continued walking a little slower, they both wanted to listen to their conversation.

"Come, it's important." Alexei said as he caught up to Natasha. "What?" She asked annoyed.

Alexei stepped up beside Natasha and put his hands in the pockets of his jacket, it looked similar to the rest of his outfit. It was from the prison. "Did he talk to you about me?" Alexei asked.

"What?" Natasha asked confused.

"Did he talk to you about me?" He repeated a little slower. "You know, trading war stories."

"Who? What are you talking about?"

"Captain America." He said, like it was the most obvious thing ever. "Captain America. My great adversary in this theater of geopolitical conflict. Not so much a nemesis. More like a contemporary, you know? Coequal. I always thought there was a great deal of mutual respect..."

"Wait. You haven't seen either one of us in 20 years and you're gonna ask me about you?" Natasha said a little louder, Yelena and Costia both turned around to them.

"Jesus, he is so full of himself." Costia whispered over at Yelena, she nodded in response.

"What is with this tension?" Alexei wondered as he walked a little away from Natasha who had stopped in her tracks. "Did I do something wrong?"

"Is that a serious question?" Yelena asked. He did everything wrong, there probably wasn't a single thing he did right.

Alexei looked at her, "I only ever loved you girls." he said, it was only kind of hard to believe him. "I did my best to make sure you would succeed to achieve your fullest potential, and everything worked out."
