Avengers...
2015, New Avengers Facility Upstate New York (one week later)
Natasha was driving towards the new Avengers compound along with Costia, Tony had started to build it some time ago and it got finally finished a few weeks ago.
The two women decided to move in the compound since Thor, Tony and Clint would be leaving team and Banner was nowhere to be found.
The two had just come back from a short trip to the city, they were getting groceries. Stark actually had people for them to do that but Natasha and Costia wanted some normality. They had been living at the compound since Sokovia. It was, interesting to say at least, to live with the Avengers full time.
"Still can't belive how huge this is." Costia was amazed as she looked at the big compound hall along with the three other buildings. There was a big 'A' on it, it looked similar to the one that was placed at the Avengers tower. It was surrounded by a forest and placed next to a big lake, it was truly beautiful.
Today they would say goodbye to Tony and Thor, Clint was already at home. Natasha and Costia just got the message yesterday that Nathanial Cosmo Pietro Barton was born. Costias almost teared up as she heard the name, right after she tried to tell Clint the boy was gonna get bullied for the name. He didn't think it was funny.
Natasha loved that Costia made jokes again, sure she was miserable but it was getting better. Every night the two got woken up by nightmares, didn't matter which one of them stirred awake.
The other person would hug them to their body and tell them that it was just a dream and that it's not reality anymore. It only helped partly, the horrors of their past were just too much.
The blondes dreams were about what Wanda had shown her, she didn't know what Natashas dreams were about but she was sure they were about the Red Room.
Costias PTSD and anxiety also had effects throughout her whole day. She couldn't stand silence, she consciously avoided situations where she knew it would be quite for too long. She also had a big problem with shattered glass.
A few days back Tony accidentally dropped a glass, everyone was shocked by Costias reaction, including herself. She also was very sensitive about who could touch her, even if it just was a handshake or a hug. She had no trouble with girls there, it were just the boys that bothered her.
She worried far more about her scars than she did before, too. Natasha was the only one allowed to see them, but even with her she felt uncomfortable now.
All in all she and Natasha were both getting better. They weren't great for obvious reasons, but it was going okay.
They hadn't told the team about their engagement yet, not even Clint. They also knew it wasn't the right time to marry, Wanda and Costia herself still mourned Pietros death and in general was everyone overwhelmed by the things that had happened.
Wanda and Costia were going through their grief together, the blonde had sworn Wanda she would get her through it.
The two got out of the car and walked inside the building where the Avengers lived. It had some rooms and a big common room combined with a kitchen. Tony didn't save up a single dollar, everything was pretty amazing and the whole building was huge.
Natasha and Costia quickly dropped the groceries off in the kitchen before they walked on the lawn where they would tell the three Avengers goodbye.
Thor was already halfway gone when the two approached the boys.
"Yeah, so nice saying goodbye to you." Costia joked as she looked at the burns in the lawn, Tony looked at it just as sceptical.
"That man has no regard for lawn maintenance." Tony stated as he and Steve greeted the women. They walked away from the burned grass a little. Costia eyed the Captain, he was wearing his suit as always.
