A week went by since the fall of Shield. Costia and Natasha were learning to deal with it. They sold their old apartment since it was too dangerous to continue to live there. Both of them had a bunch of enemies, some of them mutual, and now their address was public.

Costia took care of Natashas gunshot wound everyday. She couldn't put in words how sorry she was. But the redhead understood, as always. She wasn't mad but she still got why Costia felt so horrible about it.

It was currently early in the morning, the two had to go to court because of the crimes they did in their past. Since their actions were so similar the court allowed them to go together.

They had found a new apartment, this time in New York. "I want to wear that top, Tasha!" Costia shouted from their new bedroom. Everything was still in boxes so the blonde had to search for her favorite shirt. It was sage green and showed her chest beautifully. She really liked it.

"I don't know where it is." Natasha said as she wallked in the bedroom and sat down on the bed, everything but the bed was still in boxes or not even bought yet. Natasha wore a black Top with a black blazer.

Costia looked up at her, "Jeez, you look like you're about to go to a funeral." Costia laughed as she drew her attention back to the boxes.

"It's in the box on your right." Natasha said, Costia turned towards her. "Where would you know that from so suddenly?" Costia questioned when she opened the box.

"Intuition." Natasha smirked when Costia pulled her green shirt out of the box.

"I hate you." Costia smiled sweetly when she put the shirt on. "You love me." Natasha gave the woman a quick kiss before they made their way outside, Costia almost forgetting her blazer.

They drove to the courthouse, a bodyguard led them inside.

"Wait." Costia said as she stopped in her tracks, "You said you love me." Costia remembered what happened a week ago, when she was under Hydras impact.

Natasha turned around a little, she faced Costia. The blonde woman was smiling.

"I did." Natasha said as she bit her lip to hide her smile, "You don't have to say-"

"I love you with all of my heart, Natasha Romanoff." Costia smiled as she grabbed Natasha by her waist and leaned in for a kiss, Natasha put her hands on Costias cheeks to pull her even closer.

The security guard who walked them towards the court room coughed, "Can we- uhm, go. Please." he said uncomfortable. Costia smiled at him with red cheeks as she broke the kiss, "Sorry." she said they continued walking.

"Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" the bailiff asked first Natasha then Costia, both of them answered with 'I do'. When they sat down whole room was filled with reporters.

"Why haven't we yet heard from Captain Rogers?" a member from the committee asked.

"I don't know what there is left for him to say. I think the wreck in the middle of the Potomac made his point fairly eloquently." Natasha answered.

"Well, he could explain how this country is expected to maintain its national security now that he and you two have laid waste to our intelligence apparatus." the same man contoured.

"Hydra was selling you lies, not intelligence." Costia stated.

"Many of which you two seemed to have had a personal hand in telling." he said before another man spoke up, "Agents, you should know that there are some on this committee who feel, given both of your service record, that you two belong in a penitentiary. Not mouthing off on Capitol Hill." he said.
