Mastermind
Natasha and Costia arrived at the Helicarrier just a few minutes later, earlier than the others who were fighting Loki and the other Asgardian with blonde hair. Natasha quickly made her way to Fury to brief him while Costia went to the labortory to check up with Banner.
"Hey doctor Banner," Costia greeted him as she walked in, "did you find out something new?" Banner told her a few things, from time to time Costia suggested a few new ideas.
After they worked a little Costia got the message that Loki arrived, he walked by the labotrory just minutes later. He had this winning look on his face, he tried to hide it but Costia saw it anyways.
Costia quickly took Banner and they both made their way to the bridge meeting Natasha, Rogers and the Asgradian from before there. They all watched and listened to Furys connverstation with Loki.
Costia sat down next to Natasha, gving her a smile as always, Banner kept standing at his spot. "Something's off", Costia whisperd to Natasha, she nodded in response having the same feeling.
"So, Thor, what's his play?" Rogers asked after Fury left Loki in his cell and everyone turned ther attention away from the monitors. "He has an army called the Chitauri." Thor said dry, he sounded just like Loki, "They're not Asgard, nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth, in return, I suspect, for the Tesseract."
"An army," Rogers repeated, "from outer space." he said in disbelief.
"So, he's building another portal." Banner figured, "That's what he need Erik Selvig for."
"Selvig?" Thor asked, Natasha and Costia could read out of his eyes that the name had a meaning to him. "He's an astrophysicist." Banner explained but the women figured Thor already knew that. "He's a friend." Thor said.
"Loki has him under some kind of spell," Natasha spoke up, "along with one of ours." she reminded herself and Costia of Clint, they both missed his presence.
"I want to know why Loki let us take him." Rogers wondered, "He's not leading an army from here."
"I don't think we should be focusing so much on Loki," Costia looked at Rogers, "he has a plan which is working without him. We need to focuss on that." she said.
"That guy's brain is a bag full of cats." Banner added, "You could smell crazy on him. How should we figure out his plan-"
The way Banner talked about Loki bothered Thor, "Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother.", he said.
"He killed 80 people in two days." Natasha said dry, leaning on the table infront of her.
"He's adopted." Thor added. Costia chuckled at that but stopped rapidly when Thor looked annoyed towards her.
"I think it's about the mechanics." Banner stated, "Iridium, what do they need the iridium for?" he wondered.
Just after that Stark walked in along with Coulson. "It's a stabilizing agent." Stark said. He said something to Coulson before turning his attention back towards Banner, "It means the portal won't collapse on itself. Like it did at Shield." Costia already explained, Stark gave her a glare, seemed like he wanted to explain.
"No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing." Stark said while walking by Thor, patting his arms on the way. The look on Thors face was ridiculous. "Also it means the portal can open as wide and stay open as long as Loki wants." Stark continued.
"Raise the mizzenmast. Jib the topsails." Stark said as he looked at a monitor. He looked to his right, "That man is playing Galaga." he said motioning to one of the agents working on the bridge, "Thought we wouldn't notice, but we did."
