The sun wakes Alex up from the semi-comfortable sleep he was getting with Allison lying fully on top of him. He could smell the beginnings of breakfast being made a floor down but didn't make a move to get up. He let Ally sleep for a while longer on his chest.

Ally stirred after about 20 mins letting out a large yawn before trying to roll off him resulting in her falling onto the floor. The thud rattled the room and she was now sitting fully awake from shock.

Alex couldn't help but laugh earning a smack to his arm.

"Is everything okay?" Ally's mom calls from the kitchen.

"Yeah mom! I just fell out of bed!" Allison answers grumpily.

"Well, come on down for breakfast Clumsy," a new voice calls out. Allison's eyes widen and she races downstairs with Alex following her slightly behind.

"Chance!" She shouts while jumping into her brothers arms. The tall man hugs her back and places her down in a chair after a few moments.

"You must be Alex," the man says, offering his hand to shake.

"And you're Chance?" He responds, posing it as a question despite already knowing the answer. Chance looked every bit the construction worker he was. The strong build and calloused hands.

Before anyone could say anything else the front door opened again and in wak who Alex assumed to be Carrie carrying a purse and a few bags of gifts.

"Allison," she says while wrapping her free arm around her sister.

"Hey Carrie," Ally responds.

"I'm going to go put this stuff in my room," she tells everyone before turning to head to her room though she pauses when she notices Alex.

"Who's this?" She asks her parents.

"That's Alex," Anthony says as if they're old friends.

"Alex. Alex?" She asks while glancing at her younger sister who nods with a smile at him.

"Oh my god," Carrie says before rushing over to him to give him a huge hug. "It's so nice to finally meet you," she says with joy.

She lets him go before excusing herself to her room.

"Eat up everyone," Jenna tells them while putting the last of her spread out. Eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes and pancakes were placed on the table for a classic American breakfast.

They all sit around the table and grab their food, even Carrie when she eventually comes back.

Breakfast was enjoyable. Getting to know Ally's family was really nice. Her siblings were just as kind as her and Alex was so grateful at this moment that he had her.

"Why don't you guys go sit in the tv room and then I'll join you when I finish cleaning," Jenna suggests. Ally's parents clean up the table as the rest go into the other room.

"When will Tami be home?" Carrie asks.

"Mom doesn't know. Jake said he'll be home by 7 or 8," Chance responds to her.

"I'm so glad we can spend Christmas with everyone," Ally says happily.

"Yeah it's been a while," Carrie comments with a similar tone. "So Alex, where do you work or do you still go to school?" She asks him.

"I actually teach at a highschool," he tells her.

"Cool. What do you teach?"

"Spanish and French. And I coach the soccer team," he tells them.

"Do you like that? Working with kids?" Chance chimes in.

"I don't mind it," he responds honestly. Anthony and Jenna walk into the room and have a seat on an empty couch. Alex is sitting in the chair closest to the door with ally next to him. Chance and Carrie were sitting across from them and Ally's parents say near the two of them.

They have a little more small talk which Alex finds is pleasant compared to the awkwardness he anticipated.

After an hour or so the doorbell rang.

"Oh, that's probably Tami," Allison says. "Do you mind grabbing the door?" She asks since he's the closest. Alex does as he's told and walks over to the door.

Then he opens it to find the familiar sight of the barrel of a gun.

Instincts quickly kick in and he has the assailant on the ground in seconds by grabbing their arm and twisting so that he could pull them over his shoulder, landing hard on their back. A fist lashes out at him but Alex retaliates with one of his own. They struggle for a bit both trying to get the upper hand before Alex finally lands on top of them with the gun now in his possession.

He could hear the rest of the family screech and get up before he finally gets a good look at the attacker, surprised to find that he recognizes her.

"Jesus Christ Tamara," he says while shoving himself off of her but keeping the gun in his hand. "Are you insane?" He snaps at her after noticing the blood dripping down the side of his face from one of her hits.

"Am I insane?!" She screams. "What are you doing in my home?" She demands with her own set of injuries.

"You're home?!" He yells before coming to a halt.

"Tamara." Jenna says worried about what just happened. A man carrying luggage steps through the door before any other response could come. He glances up to see the blood on his girlfriends face.

"What the fuck happened?" Ben asks, walking over.

"Rider happened," she responds while trying to get her nose to stop bleeding. When her response clicks in Ben Daniels mind he snaps his head to look at the young man standing in front of him.

"What are you doing here Alex?" Ben asks in slight shock. He came to meet his girlfriends family not to see a ghost from the past.

"I could ask the same thing," he snipped back.

"You can't just show up at my home," Tamara began.

"I came with Allison Tamara. So honestly back off. I didn't exactly want to see you again ever in my life," Alex snaps while interrupting her.

"Ally?" Tamara or Tami asks when Allison come to stand next to Alex.

"What just happened?" Chance poses the questions for everyone looking horrified like his twin and parents.

A/N: There's probably going to be another part of this of Jacob, Ally's brother, coming home and them having explain everything to the family so hopefully that will happen soon. Thanks as always for reading 💗
