The buzzing sound of the vibrations of a phone echoed throughout the Brookland classroom. All eyes turned to the outcasted boy sitting in the back of the classroom.

It had only been a week since Alex Rider had returned to school and so far only Tom approached him.

Mr. Green Alex's geography teacher was benign yet so old fashioned. He hated messy students, kids who didn't try, and loved to give out to a of work. He did try to make class fun though. One rule he did have though was to always keep your phone off in the classroom. If it rings then your in trouble.

Alex merely sheds a glance at his phone before turning it off. Alex having only been in the class for a week didn't know the rules of the classroom and became aware of the eyes on him.

Mr. Green walked up to him.

"I have said time and time again to have your phones off," he says to the teen.

"I'm sorry sir," Alex apologizes. "I didn't know your rules. I'll have it off from now on," he assures.

"You bet you will," Mr. Green replies. "I'm sorry but I'm going to have to ask you to call them back and put it on speaker," he tells Alex.

"I'm sorry sir I can't," Alex tried to reason.

"You can and you will. If you didn't want people to know about whoever that was then you should have respected to rules," Mr. Green says.

"But sir-" Apex begins to argue. Before he can get a chance though his phone begins to ring again. Mr. Green sends him a stern look and Alex sighs before answering on speaker phone.

"Rider," he picks up not knowing who the caller id may belong too. He knows it's someone though because his number is very hard to get.

"Mr. Rider," a woman's voice calls out. "Your presence has been requested here at the bank to check your statements."

Alex scowls at his phone.

"Now?" He asks.

"Yes sir."

"No," Alex Denys briefly glancing at the curious eyes trained on him.

"I have to insist sir," the woman pushes.

"Jesus fu-," Alex begins and finishes the term under his breath.

"Tell Blunt I'm busy and if he's busy then tell Jones I'm busy all though I'm sure they're both just sitting at a fest waiting on my arrival," Alex says knowingly.

"Sir I-," this girl wouldn't stop.

"He's not going," Tom says before hanging up the phone.

"Your good," he says when turning to his best friend. Before anyone can do anything though a knock sounds outside the door.

John Crawley makes his way into the room and narrows his eyes at the teen.

"I'm sorry who are you?" Mr. Green asks.

"Let's go," he orders but Alex stays out.

"Who exactly are you referring to?" Alex asks him. The man sighs.

"Stop being difficult kid and we're leaving."

"Correction your leaving," Alex interjects.

"I'm not paid enough for this," The man exclaims. Alex just shrugs in nonchalance.

"I'm busy," Alex informs the man.

"With what?"

Alex rolls his eyes and gestures around him. "Graduating high school," He says in a duh tone.

"You can literally go to any university or college you want we'll make sure of it but we need you right now."

"Fine," Alex finally agrees before leaving with that man. While the class sat there confused all Mr. green could think about was how much he hate phone calls. He apparently only gets annoyed and confused and it was safe to say that he ignored the phones from then on.
