I wasn't entirely sure what Renee wanted to discuss, but I was going to do my hardest to end this conflict before it got any messier and hope that she'd release Alonzo before Epic got his cousins involved. Then again she could want to discuss Chess, I knew she had taken my sister under her wing and that was yet another situation that I really wasn't feeling, granted my sister was grown as fuck and would do as she pleased but in war anything could happen and I don't want my baby sister getting caught up in the middle of it. Or Renee could simply be asking for advice on threesomes, while unlikely that was the reason I was definitely the person to come to on such matters, I'm pretty sure I held the record for the most threesomes so it's only natural she would come to me.... In all seriousness, I didn't know what she wanted and while I tried to read her face, her thoughts were unclear to me; hidden inside of a vault, frozen under the thick sheet of ice that was her face. We stopped at the edge of the water, damn near the exact same spot where I had just had my conversation with Epic and while I should be focusing on this impending conversations, my thoughts drifted to Micah and just how that nigga was going to propose. We stood there quietly, each waiting for the other to speak, I figure since she wanted to talk to me then she should, at the very least, start the conversation since I had no clue as to why she wanted me out here....

"You know why I respect you Frenchie?" Renee started and I shrugged. "You're loyal... extremely loyal, almost to a fault. Like this situation with Midnight, you have all the evidence in front of you that he was working with Qwantay but your gut is telling you that something isn't right and you wanna give him a chance to explain what really happened." Renee said.

"Midnight was moving funny... but I'm not in the business of executing dudes without a reason, I just wanna be fair and give him a chance to tell his side of the story. I can only imagine what you're going to do with Qwantay once you finally catch him... he went against your orders and we both know you're not as forgiving as I am." I said looking at her.

"Qwantay will suffer unimaginable agony before he dies..... but it's not up to me to pull the trigger, there are several people who that honor should go to, I'll let them decide between themselves whose going to be the one who does it.... The reason I wanted to talk to you is that loyalty though, do you think you could be loyal to someone who isn't loyal to you?" Renee asked. "No, I'm not talking about Epic.... I'm talking about Kooda."

"Kooda is young and wild.... he reminds me a lot of your brother, of Reggie... them two niggas were some hotheads and always getting into trouble. Kooda's hothead and loose lips tend to get him into trouble but he just needs some guidan...." Renee cut me off before I could finish.

"Who do you think told me about Alonzo? Or rather confirmed that there was something going on with Epic and Alonzo.... he even went as far as to help us snatch Alonzo up, then he pissed my dudes off, and well.... they are even more ruthless than I am." Renee said laughing.

"Why are you telling me this?" I asked looking at her. "Better yet you should just go on ahead and Alonzo go.... I know you want Epic to suffer but that dude is innocent in all of this.... and let's be serious do you really think it's wise to cause Epic to lose another person he cares about? What happens when a man has nothing else to lose? What do you think Epic will do if something were to happen to Alonzo?"

"My men have orders not to kill him.... but as I've been saying from the beginning, Epic needs to learn a lesson.... Taking Alonzo is also an insurance policy to make sure Epic doesn't try anything stupid while I'm away......" Renee said. "I know you're Epic's best man... please tell him to behave." Renee said smiling.

"I'm on vacation... anything that's happening back home is none of my business until the plane lands, honestly I feel like you and Epic really need to have a sitdown and see if y'all can come to a peaceful resolution to this pointless war." I said turning back to the water.
