I made it back to Mama Trina and Pop's house to wait for Icon and to give her the money Epic sent over, I could tell Jordan was getting bored because he was fussy and just kept walking from room to room. If Jordan was going to be staying in the city the chances of him being over here were 1000% which meant they were going to need toys and stuff to keep him occupied because there was only so much Paternity and Couple's Court he'd watch before he got bored. Where the fuck was Icon? Like it had been hours since he left and he wasn't picking up his phone, which pissed me off because he could at least check on Jordan. It wasn't until the street lights were on and I had woken up from a nap on the couch with Jordan laying across my chest, that Icon and Legend walked back in. Icon was holding a Happy Meal which Jordan seemed to sense in his sleep because he jumped up, stumbled over to his dad and grabbed the food. I don't know how he was still hungry but I'd figure that out later, I looked at Icon wondering what the fuck was going on but I couldn't really read his face because he seemed to be watching Legend.

"What time are y'all coming over to help with the yard?" Pops asked seemingly unaware of the obvious signs of exhaustion on Legend and Icon's faces. But it wasn't like physical exhaustion, there were signs of tears on both their faces that told me they were emotionally drained.

"I got some business to take care of in the morning but I should be finished by noon, that's when I'll be over." Legend said.

"I'm not... I just spent a lot of money on all that supplies, that's my contribution, I can't put in any manual labor." Icon said shrugging. "Besides, as you can see my son needs new clothes which is something we were supposed to be doing today but we got caught up.... So tomorrow I'll be spending the entire day with my son and Sincere... sorry." Icon said.

"I don't get why you don't just let me hire someone to come do it... I got dudes that fix up houses for a living, plus you're too old to be up on that roof." Legend said, that somehow turned into a playful argument which gave me the chance to pull Icon to the side.

"You wanna explain where the fuck you've been? Like I couldn't get a fuckin call or a text?" I asked as we walked out on the porch.

"I can't say... me and Legend... we had... we had a conversation. That's all I'm going to say on the matter. I apologize for not calling but this should I trust you so much that I wasn't worried about Jordan for a second because I know you'll protect him." Icon said.

"Aight I'll leave it alone but... never mind, I trust you enough that if you feel like you can't tell me I won't press you on the matter." I said and Icon nodded. Maybe it was being outside in the night air but it was like a fog lifted and several things clicked into place... Legend's distraction, the conversation Alistair and Icon were having as they came down the ladder, the look on Icon's face when he seemed to realize something... something to do with Legend, The Killer Kung Fu Wolf Bitch aka Renee being pregnant.... My eyes widen and Icon seemed to guess what I was thinking. "HOLY FUCK! LEGEND GOT...!!!" Before I could finish Icon had his hand over my mouth.

"Shut... thee... fuck.... up...." Icon said in a cold quiet voice. I get why he was looking around nervously and I should've known but... that shyt caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting it. "We can't talk about it, swear that you won't say a word." Icon said and I nodded. "Come on, it's getting late and I want to get Jordan home...." Icon said and again I nodded.

We got home and despite having taken a nap, after his bath Jordan was down for the count which left me and Icon alone downstairs. Icon seemed distracted and I was still trying to figure out what this all meant... I mean I could speculate what the implications of Renee having Legend's baby meant for this whole Renee vs Epic thing, one thing I knew about Legend was that he wasn't going to let anything happen to Renee and that child but does that mean he'd go against Epic?
