Renee was in a bad mood... and somehow it was all my fault, I'm chalking it up to hormones on top of all the stress she was dealing with but I knew better than to contradict her, so I took it. I enlisted Murda to grab a pepperoni, ham, and olive pizza, which he wasn't too thrilled about but the truth is I used that as an excuse to get him over here... something just felt off and I knew he was really good at reading situations and I needed an expert opinion. Since getting back, I've just had this weird feeling... maybe I was trippin and everything that was going on was fuckin with my head but... It just felt like a storm was coming, the sky had gone from a clear blue to a cloudy grey, and in the distance, I could see dark thunderclouds rapidly approaching. I've been learning to trust my guts and my gut was telling me to brace myself for something cataclysmic. I wasn't even sure why Renee called me over here... maybe she just needed someone to cuss out and she knew I could take it but I really wanted to be with Cody, since coming back we've spent a total of twenty minutes together, and I... I just wanted to be with him. We sat there quietly, Renee was seemingly calming down and I wanted to relax but... again something felt off. Another minute went by and that's when I heard the commotion, Murda was outside arguing with Renee's security and I knew I needed to step in before.....

"Let him in." I said stepping outside and the guard looked at me with a deadly scowl.

"Nigga I don't take orders from you and unless Renee gives the order this nigga ain't getting in... Besides, his lil ass is fuckin with one of your brother's people... and I'm not sure I trust him...." The dude said turning his attention back to Murda.

"Let him in...." Renee said from behind me, I swear she was like a cat I didn't even hear her walk up behind me. "Because if my pizza gets cold I'm going to be pissed." Renee said snatching the pizza, turning around, and walking back into the house. Murda smirked and whispered something to the guard before walking into the house with me.

"Did you handle your business?" I asked and Murda nodded once. "Good once, we finish up here I plan on going up to the hospital to check on Nolan...." I said and Murda nodded but was more focused on watching Renee devour the pizza that she snatched from him.

"Coo... but I'm going to need your help with something. I'll tell you about it later, what I wanna know is what was so important that you couldn't say it over the phone and why'd you said you needed backup... I mean, everything seems calm here." Murda said.

"Well...." I said glancing at Renee.

"Well, what? I told you my mind is made up, Icon deserves the kill more than you do so I'm going to wait until he gets back and let him decide what he's going to do with Qwantay... Baby dad or not you don't get to tell me what to do with my prisoner." Renee said and I felt a flicker of irritation, Renee was holding Qwantay captive and refusing to release him to me.

"Renee..." I said calmly. "I know my brother and I don't think Icon could pull the trigger and despite everything, I don't want him to have to live with that decision. Besides, he burned my parent's house down and tried to kill you, my kids and Cody.... I feel like I'm owed at least the chance to face him one last time." I said looking at her.

"And you'll get that chance... once Icon gets back." Renee said firmly and I tried to control my anger, she wasn't seeing the big picture Qwantay needed to be dead BEFORE Icon got back. Ib couldn't explain it but I just had this feeling that it needed to happen as soon as possible, which is why I called Murda and he understood without me having to explain it to him.

"Give me twelve hours..." Murda whispered. "When will Icon be back?" He asked and I shook my head because I didn't want to discuss too much in front of Renee.

"Fine..." I conceded... at least, I let her believe I conceded but I wasn't letting this go. "Now, about that other thing... I thought we agreed that we weren't doing a baby shower or gender reveal considering everything that's going on with you and Epic?" I asked.
