I was on high alert, even with Murda and Jizzle lurking in the background I still wasn't comfortable with where I was sitting. Then there was the added factor that there were several people who just seemed out of place and... Twins? Really twins? I mean I knew it was a possibility, but damn why me? Now I had to double up on everything I already bought and.... why the fuck does that table of dudes keep looking over here? Epic wasn't making the situation much better as he kept shooting murderous glances in Renee's direction and Renee showed no fear by taunting my big brother (at one point I could've sworn she stuck her tongue out at him). Then there was Vincini, who seemed to be relishing in the tension that was lingering all around our table.... I wonder what Cody was going to say when I drop the twin news on him. Why are those dudes STILL staring at our table? I needed to excuse myself from the table without it being obvious, but did I really trust Epic to behave while I'm gone? Fuck it, I needed to get a message to Murda and Jizzle, so without making it obvious I excused myself from the table and walked over to the bar and just as I expected Jizzle walked over and sat on the stool next to mine.

"Do you see that table with the four dudes." I whispered to Jizzle who discreetly looked towards the table and then nodded. "Keep an eye on them, they keep staring at our table and I want to make sure they aren't planning anything."

"Trust me, Murda's been waiting... and he's not the only one, on your way back to the table look towards the back left... the woman with the bright red wig looks an awful lot like Chess." Jizzle said. "You should get back to the table... don't worry we got you covered." Jizzle said getting up and walking off.

"Epic fuck you..." Renee said as I sat back down at the table. "Listen the ONLY reason I'm here is because you've been MIA these past few weeks and I wanted to see if you had the balls to show up..."

"You seem to be under the mistaken belief that my disappearance has ANYTHING to do with you.... How arrogant. If I were you my main concern would be less about what I'm doing and more worried about who you can trust while you're in such a delicate state... For a measly $1000 I was able to get all your medical information.... Might wanna watch the salt... high blood pressure isn't good for your twins." Epic said smiling.... If Renee was scared she didn't show it... me, I was terrified, my heart was racing... I knew Epic wasn't bluffing either because I just found out about her being pregnant with twins....

"My employer...." Vincini said cutting into the conversation. "Is offering y'all a choice... y'all can co-exist in HIS city peacefully or y'all can be dealt with accordingly. Now I know this is a bold offer but trust me... he's being generous."

"Sorry, I don't deal with yes-men..... I talk to bosses directly and if your 'employer' is too pussy to face me directly then I got nothing for him...." Epic said laughing.

"He figured you'd have an issue with his offer so I was informed that he's willing to sweeten the pot...." Vincini said pulling out a check. "He's willing to pay for control of your businesses... just say your price." Vincini said.

"There's no amount of money that will make me back down... Your boss may think he's operating from a position of strength but what makes him think we won't team up to take him out?" Renee asked.

"This...." Vincini said waving the waiter over to our table. "There's one for each of y'all." He said taking out these thick ass envelopes. I opened the one with my name on it and looked through the pictures of a bound, gagged, and beaten Qwantay. I tried to see what Renee and Epic had but they weren't in a sharing mood; Epic looked pissed while Renee looked scared. "We can handle this peacefully or....."

"I won't be blackmailed... In fact, I can take you out right now and be done with it." Epic said tossing the folder at Vincini, then he pulled out his phone and sent out a text. Next thing the I knew a group of three men entered the restaurant, it was clear to me why they were here and Epic had planned this night out perfectly. "I can wipe out all potential threats in one night..."
