I drove through the city with a satisfied smirk on my face, not saying Alonzo did anything special but I felt a lot better than I had all day; but that could be also chalked up to the fact that I knew Preacher and Santerìa had good news for me. A lot was running through my mind as I took in the bright lights of the city; a city of around a million people, the 14th most populous city in the country and I sat on top as king.... all that was threatened by a woman who's motives weren't to kill me but to ruin me... to teach me a lesson. It was almost comical, I've learned my lesson after the last battle, loss tended to be the greatest teacher, betrayal kept you sharp and also made you question those around you. Maybe that's why I had no issues with what I was doing to Legend and Icon, they were distractions... tools to be used against me, and despite our past differences, they were safer distracted from my current moves. We've seen what happened to my parents, to Titan's mom, to Frenchie..... a lot of people tended to get hurt around me and I didn't want that to keep happening so that's part of the reason that I was so against bringing Alonzo's cousins in (that and some paranoia that I've already discussed) but bringing Alonzo's family in basically declared his allegiance to me and when you added in the Edmund variable.......

"Wassup with you? You seem like you're walking on air and considering that everything that was going on you'd be a little more.... focused." Preacher said and Santerìa tapped him on the shoulder. "You're right, you should be floating.... so that thing you've been waiting for will be arriving soon, it took a lot of convincing and maneuvering but he agreed.... bad news he's charging double." Preacher said and I felt a little annoyed, but if this dude was as good as advertised then he was definitely worth the price.

"Good, let me know when he's willing to meet and we can discuss how I want this handled.... it has to be planned perfectly and I don't want any fuck ups. Now we just need to discuss what we're going to do when Renee leaves... I'm hoping Frenchie and Yaseem speak with Edmund before he gets out but they're dragging their asses for some reason." I said pulling out a blunt and lighting it. "Legend has provided me with a stroke of inspiration and we just have to capitalize off of it.... plan it out perfectly, have either of you spoken with Uno?" I asked looking at them and Santerìa rose his hand.... I'd be interested in how that conversation went, Santerìa was very tip-lipped and only spoke when necessary.

"Edmund can easily be dealt with but something tells me he's going to want Ezequiel's head on a platter before doing anything else, so that gives us some time if Frenchie and Yaseem can't get to him..... I'm more concerned about that nigga Jerry. From what Yaseem has told me, he's been making some serious threats and some of the shyt he has said..... I'm feeling a little uneasy." Preacher said and I let out a low sigh.... if it's not one thing it's another.

"I'll speak to Jerry..... right now our job is to lay low, Renee should be leaving in a couple days and while I know she's expecting us to strike then, sometimes it's best to spring a trap.... we'll meet up again the night before she leaves." I said and they both nodded. So far my plan was coming together nicely, if this dude was as good as Tion claimed then it could edeal a serious blow to Renee, maybe then she'll back down but I highly doubt it.......

Once I finished up with Preacher and Santerìa I decided to stop by my place, I had no intention on being there long since I was letting Titan use it tonight but there were a few things I needed to grab. Walking into the building, I smiled at the increased security, and a sick desire to see Renee try a frontal assault played out in my head.... honestly it didn't even have to be Renee I just wanted to see the carnage. I got up to my penthouse and found Titan sitting on the couch; he looked like he was biting his fist, his foot tapped rapidly, and he had the look of anger in his eyes that I've seen too many times before.

"You good bro?" I asked walking into the kitchen, a half-eaten box of pizza was on the counter and a half-empty bottle of tequila sat next to it. "I thought Deuce was coming over?" I asked walking back into the living room.
