Alex van der Meer ~ Summer Sea
It's been some time since I woke up. A girl came by to deliver some water. Ever since I woke up in this world, it feels like I am in the show Game of Thrones. Whoever or whatever brought me here, it did it for a reason or out of sympathy. Another thing I saw was my 'new look'. I transformed from a typical European Caucasian to one of the Valyrian people. It seems the wound I suffered from the boat is still visible. It left quite the slash wound.
The room I was put in is pretty bare minimal. It slightly reminds me of training camp. Only the necessities are here; a bed, a desk with a chair, and a trunk. I don't have much in terms of possessions. Almost everything I had was left back on earth. Only some basic clothing and a necklace. Its design is wavy and fluid. Somewhat similar to water coursing through a river.
I push myself from the bed and exit the room. Daenerys wanted to speak and I think it is best to not keep her waiting. From what I remember of the show, she is about to gain her Unsullied army. I am positive that it will happen as the show. Further, Jorah is here. He is a former spy of the crown in Westeros. Maybe I should warn Daenerys or speak to Jorah about it.
As I contemplate my situation, I am also wondering about my weapons. I am trained in firearms, bows, some martial arts, and can handle simple knives. But a sword is a bit beyond me, I think. I sigh softly as I try to find Daenerys. This world is magical and beautiful, but fuck me, I can die easily by dragons or swords.
Eventually, I come across the girl called Irri again. It seems she does not have sea legs. She is uncomfortable at the sea. "Irri, where can I find Daenerys?" I ask her. "It's the next room on your left," she says. I nod in appreciation. "Perhaps you should drink a tea with ginger or food with ginger. It will help against the seasickness," I say before walking off. Irri looks a bit confused but nods.
I continue to the room and eventually knock on the door. "You may enter," Daenerys says. It's curious that English is the common tongue here. I guess this world is really inspired by the one that is made up. I take a deep breath and enter. Daenerys sits in a chair as she looks at a dagger. I am not sure what's so special about it, but I walk towards her.
"A man that looks like my family floats in the sea unconscious. Has this Valyrian Steel dagger with him. Says things that make no sense. What should I make of this?" Daenerys asks. "I don't know. For me, it is unclear as to how I got to this world," I say. She narrows her eyes as she looks me over. "You... are not from this world?" She asks. "I am not, Daenerys. My world is very different, but it seems I am here to stay. For whatever reason, that may be," I say.
I look a bit more closely at Daenerys. For one, she is beautiful. Her silver hair and purple eyes make her even more so, especially in combination with her pale skin. Even so, her beauty cannot hide her pain to a trained eye. I have not read too deeply about her, but I seem to recall that her relationship with her brother was not the best. Also, what happened with her son and former husband is not something you can easily digest.
"Your world, how different is it there?" Daenerys asks curiously. "Jezus, uhm, well, almost everything is different. It's hard to name a specific thing," I say as I scratch the back of my head. Daenerys nods as she glances back at the dagger. "Hmm, you seem familiar with this world. How?"
God, what to say? Can I really say that a person imagined this whole world behind a computer? Seems a bit too much in my opinion, but I better be honest. "I, ehm, read and seen much of your world. It's, uhm. I am sorry to say this, but your world is made by a person. As a fantasy," I say softly. I try to not look at her directly. How would I react if someone told me your world is basically made by someone.
"Made... by a human..." she says with disbelief. I glance briefly at her. Daenerys seems shocked as she looks at me. "I guess, but now it seems to be anything but that. This can't be made by a person. Perhaps something links both worlds together? I don't know..." I say. Daenerys pinches the bridge of her nose. "Gods, I did not expect that... how can I be sure you speak the truth? That this is not some kind of madness in your head?" She asks.
