Aegon Targaryen
Daenerys is not in a good mood. Margaery is alive. That is not in the show, but perhaps things that could have gone either way may be up in the air. It makes me wonder what else is different. Whatever that may be, I feel for Margaery. Living with these kinds of burns is hard. That is especially true when it comes to this world where medical care is more primitive.
As I wait with a brooding Daenerys for Tyrion, I hear the door open. Tyrion enters the room, he looks sorrowful. He has heard the news. "Your Majesties," Tyrion greets us softly. "Sit," Daenerys says with authority and slight anger. I keep a wary eye on her. In this mood, Daenerys will be prone to making decisions that may not be wise.
Tyrion swallows a little as he sits down in front of us. "Tyrion, tell me. Does your family deserve mercy?" Daenerys asks coldly. "Judging from their actions, no," Tyrion says with a heavy heart. I can tell he wished it was otherwise. "I fully agree. Your sister is a psychopath. Your father is a cold merciless killer. And your brother is an honorless knight. What else does your family have? Rapists? Pillagers?" Daenerys says, eyes full of hate.
"Daenerys..." I was cut off. "Not now, Alex. I don't want to hear it. Well?" she asks. "What do you expect me to say? That every last Lannister is a criminal? I won't because that is not the truth," he says. "Have you seen Margaery? Have you heard what your sister did? The actions of your family say otherwise," Daenerys spits and stands up from her chair. She looks down at Tyrion with a cold and unforgiving gaze.
"I will promise you this, Tyrion. When I have taken my rightful place on the Iron Throne, I will strip your family of everything. The Westerlands, Casterly Rock, your precious gold. They will become extinct and your sister will die. I will give you the opportunity to change your family name or you will suffer the same fate as your family. Now leave," she says with cold rage and waves him away. Tyrion looks down at the floor, not knowing what else to say. I am not entirely sure what he thinks of this. He must have known his family would be punished severely. To be honest, most of his family treated Tyrion like shit. Still, I should talk to him later.
"Tyrion, I will speak with you later." He simply nods and exits the room. "You better not change my mind, Alex. My decision is final," she warns me. I sigh. "I won't, Daenerys. I have no love for the Lannisters, and I understand why you decided on this punishment. Still, we also need to do this properly or chaos will follow."
Daenerys sighs as some frustration leaves her. "I did not really think it through, I'll admit that. But I stand by my decision. What happened to Margaery, blowing up the Sept of Baelor... The Lannisters will suffer," she says. I wrap my arms around Daenerys and embrace her warmly. "The wars will have killed many of them already, so it won't matter. But at least don't hurt Tyrion. He has been hurt enough by his family. The person everyone looked down on."
A soft groan leaves Daenerys. I frown a little at the sound as I look Daenerys over. "Are you alright, Dany?" I ask worriedly. Daenerys rubs her forehead a bit, frowning a little. "Yes, I just..." she stops speaking as a bright smile forms on her face. "What is it, Daenerys? A headache or something else?" She does not answer as she hugs me tightly. "Dany?" I ask confused.
"Love," she says in a soft and warm voice. Her hand gently guides my right hand to her belly. My eyes widen in realization. "Oh, oh! Are you sure?" I ask. Daenerys nods. "I should have known. The last few days I felt a bit tired and nauseous. Are... are you excited?" Daenerys asks with a bit of hesitation. "Excited? Are you serious? I am beyond excited, Dany!" I pick Daenerys up and spin her around in the air. Daenerys giggles a bit. "I love you, Dany!"
As Daenerys touches the ground again, she quickly kisses me on the lips. "I love you more. I hope I can give you a son, Alex." I shrug. I don't care if it is a girl or a boy. "I guess that would depend on me. But I don't care, Daenerys. A boy or a girl, I will love the new one no matter the gender." Daenerys smiles even wider, her arms once again around me. "You are a good man, Alex. Thank you for loving me," she says. "I always will," I assured her.
