Ava stood silently in Micah's kitchen, watching nervously, as Zachariah and other Angels checked on his lifeless body. She prayed hard, as she watched as Zachariah finished his exam and sighing sadly, he hung his head saying his final rights, before he stood and sighing again spoke.
"Our brother has been murdered and his grace stolen." Zachariah announced angrily.
"Are you sure about this, brother?" One of the Angels asked shocked, as they all looked at him.
"Unfortunately, I' am, brother." Zachariah replied sadly. "I know what to look for, I will report this to the Council. Ava, you return home, the rest of you, I want patrolling this area."
"You want us to watch over the Outcasts, why?"
"To keep the others safe." Zachariah replied firmly.
"From who?"
"Cecil." Zachariah answered, as he looked at Micah. "Take Micah's body to the Council, I'll need proof if I'm going to stop our traitorous brother." He ordered an Angel.
"Yes, brother." The Angel replied.
A few minutes later, the other Angels were gone, leaving Zachariah and Ava alone.
"Dean's going to freak out when he learns of this." Ava said worriedly.
"We won't let our brother's sacrifice be in vain, sister." Zachariah assured her.
"I'll go tell Dean and Xavier the news, be careful, brother." Ava said quietly, before she left.
After leaving Micah's, Ava quickly returned to her brothers, going inside, she found Xavier sitting on the couch alone. Seeing her, he stood and she shook her head sadly, Xavier hung his head and said a quick prayer for their fallen brother, before he looked at her again and spoke.
"What happened?" He asked angrily.
"We...we were too late, Cecil murdered Micah and stole his grace, he disappeared before we got there. Zachariah has taken his body to the Council to tell them about Cecil and he has other Angels patrolling the area to keep the Outcasts safe." Ava explained.
"Dammit!" Dean's angry voice spoke from behind them. "I knew it, I fucking knew it! I told you this was a bad idea!"
"Dean, brother, please calm down." Xavier said gently.
"I knew this would happen, dammit! Micah is dead and Cecil is still out there stronger than ever!"
"At least we have proof now about Cecil and the Council..."
"Are a bunch of self-righteous dicks, who don't give a flying fuck about the Outcasts!" Dean said angrily, cutting her off. "Come on, Ava, wake up, do you honestly think that they're going to care if Cecil kills off the damn Outcasts?"
"Outcasts or not, Dean, they are still our brothers and sisters." Ava replied firmly.
"You're telling that to the wrong Angel, Ava." Dean said bitterly.
Dean began to pace, he was angry, upset, and refused to let any more Angels die because of Cecil. As he paced, he felt a strange feeling in his chest, it wasn't because of his grace though. He's felt it since Ava and Zachariah had left for Micah's, only this was the worse it's ever been. He stopped pacing and grabbed his chest, seeing him, Ava and Xavier became concerned.
"Dean, what is it?" Ava asked worriedly.
"I...I don't know." Dean replied looking at them. "It's my chest...it hurts, but it feels different than it usually does." He tried to explain, as Ava and Xavier looked at each other. "W-what is it? What's going on, dammit? And don't lie to me, dammit, I saw that look."
