Cecil said nothing, he only smiled and sat back down, his eyes still locked with Dean's, as the Council members came into the room. Dean tensed, as he let go of the bars, surprised to see him, one of the Council members spoke.
"Dean, brother?" She said unsure of what was going on. "What are you doing in here alone with Cecil?" She questioned.
"Nothing...anymore." Dean replied bitterly, as he turned to face them.
"Alright, well, what were you doing then?" She asked sighing.
"Trying to get him to tell me where my family is." Dean answered.
"Did he tell you?" Another Council member asked.
"No." Dean answered truthfully, leaving out the little deal they had made.
"Well, don't worry, brother, we have ways of making him talk." The Council member reassured him, making Dean roll his eyes, before he took one last look at Cecil.
"Yeah." Dean replied sighing, before he walked out of the room.
After leaving, Dean decided to go to the garden to think, it had quickly become his favorite place to be, it was incredibly beautiful with so many different kinds of flowers, in so many vibrant colors. In the garden he was able to find peace and tranquility; it was his own little piece of Heaven. He headed to the garden to think, he needed to process what had happened before he did anything else. Reaching the garden, he was grateful that it was empty, he needed space to think. Sighing, he sat down on a bench and leaned back as he rubbed his hands over his face. He had no idea what he was going to do, he had just made a damn deal with the bastard who had betrayed their kind, stolen their grace, and kidnapped his family. What the hell was he thinking? He couldn't trust Cecil, but he had been so damn desperate to save his family that he would have sold his damn soul to the devil if it meant he could save them. He felt like a damn traitor for doing it, he was basically doing what Cecil had done; he had betrayed his kind too. Dammit, all of this had happened in the first place because he had joined Cecil and here he was helping the bastard again.
He was still upset that his friends...his family, had ratted him out to the damn Council. He knew that they were just looking out for him, but it still pissed him off that they did it. Why couldn't they understand what he was doing? It wasn't like he was evil like Cecil, he just wanted to save his damn family.
"I thought I'd find you here." Xavier's gentle voice spoke from beside him.
"Yay, you found me, now leave." Dean said bitterly without looking at him.
"Dean, brother, I know you're angry with me." Xavier said sadly, as he sat down beside him.
"Angry?" Dean said in disbelief. "Angry doesn't begin to describe what I feel right now!"
"Dean, we..."
"No, Xavier, save your bullshit excuses, I don't want to hear them!" Dean said angrily, cutting him off, as he stood. "I have done every-damn-thing I was told to do since I got here, dammit. I...I didn't cause trouble until I started questioning the Council and their freaking rules. Everyone here are so blinded by the damn Council that you all follow every one of their stupid rules. And whatever they say is wrong, you all follow them blindly and agree with them, questioning nothing! For the longest time, I was treated as an equal, a brother, but the second I start questioning them, what happens? I'm deemed an Outcast and treated like a freaking criminal! How many of the Outcasts are like me, huh?" Dean said, as he began to pace.
