Cheating Hearts Pt15/Ambrollins

 Dean sat in his hospital bed, while Roman sat in the chair on his left side, holding Dean's hand, while Seth still sat on the edge of the bed, holding Dean's other hand. The room was quiet, a nervous energy surrounding them, while they waited for Seth to talk, truthfully though, Dean didn't want to hear how they had hurt him. It was hard enough to know that they had done it, but actually hearing Seth tell them was going to make the guilt a thousand times worse. He wasn't going to try and stop him though, he knew to fully move on, all three needed to speak their pain, so he stayed silent, waiting for the hurt he deserved.

 "I...I have no freaking idea how to even start this conversation, I've never had to do this before. When...when I found out you cheated, Dean, I...I didn't know what hurt me more, the fact that you had cheated or that you did it with Roman. It flipped my entire world upside down and it made me question and doubt our love and entire relationship, it made me wonder if you ever really loved me at all...if you both ever loved me. The part that tore me apart was every damn time I closed my eyes all I ever saw was the two of you together, it broke me completely. I spent days and long, lonely nights crying, I wanted to hate you both, God, I fucking tried so damn hard to...but, even after what you two did I...couldn't." Seth said sadly, his tears falling silently, as he looked at the bed unable to look either of them in the eyes.

 Both Dean and Roman had been staring at their laps ashamed, heads down, as their tears fell silently too. Until that moment, hearing that, they both quickly raised their heads and looked at him confused.

 "What?" Roman asked quietly.

 "Pretty fucked up, huh?" Seth laughed bitterly, as he shook his head slightly. "It took hearing both of your explanations to finally get the answers I needed to get closure. You two are my brothers and I still love you both so damn much, but I...I'm not ready to forgive or trust either of you...yet. I still need time to heal from this...we all do, but I'm tired of pretending that I hate you. I don't know what the future holds for us or if I'll ever be able to trust either of you like I used to, but I want to work on getting our friendship back at least."

 "Seth, we...I don't deserve it, we broke your trust, we..."

 "Dean, stop, please." Seth said, cutting him off gently. "I know what you both did and I'm working on forgiving you, but whether or not you two feel like you deserve it or not, this...this is what I want." He said smiling sadly at them.

 Before either of his brothers could answer or argue with him, Seth pulled both of them in for a three-way hug, holding them both close, as they cried silently.

**A Week Later**:

 Roman sighed, trying to calm his nerves, Dean was being released from the hospital today and Roman was nervous. Since he still couldn't walk unassisted and he wasn't completely healed yet, Dean couldn't be left alone, so Seth and Roman had told him that they'd help him out until he was back on his feet again. Seth had cleared it with Hunter and this morning he was going to go with Seth to pick Dean up, then they all agreed to drive to Dean's house since it was closer. Roman was packed and ready to go before the time Seth had told him to meet him at Dean's room so that they could pack their brother's things too.

 An hour later, they were packed up and on their way to pick Dean up, since they talked, they were friendly, but nothing like the way they used to be with each other. As much as it hurt Roman, he took what his brother was able to give him knowing that he didn't even deserve that. Maybe, being away from everything and everyone would be what the three of them needed to help them get closer to getting their brotherhood back.

 "We're here, let's go get our Lunatic, so we can get on the road. Hopefully, we'll get to Dean's place early enough to hang out a little before bed." Seth said smiling, as he parked and they got out.
